  1. immediately identifying it as power harassment and phrasing it that way is so Japanese. So, so Japanese xD

Power is so commonly abused in their business sectors that it's known by its English shorthand パワハラ (pawa-hara) and a law was passed two years ago specifically to try and fight the assertion of dominance as a form of harassing employees.

  2. My friend is a bungirl, but her greeting is always "meow" lol.
I find that exclusive groups don't work well, because people change. Then it's no longer about being social or friends, it's obsession over being exclusive.
My brother and half our FC were originally in an FC called PSI (Play Station Invasion), and all members HAD to be on ps. Since you can examine a player on ps, and see their ps name, the leader could keep track. If there was no name, that meant they changed to pc, and they'd be kicked immediately. There was a lot more drama to it, but the FC died rather quickly after my brother left.

  3. Funny how people make these weird social hierarchies in-game. Around the release of SB, Au Ra were all the rave. I played one since I started FF14 in HW, but contemplated switching it up when I joined this rp FC. They were cool peoples and we had good rapport until I fantasia’d to Highlander. Since half the group was Xaela, they highly fetishized au ra and largely ignored those who weren’t; in the discord, in chats, and in character. It was weird af, but I hung around for the boosts and stable to recolor my choco then left. My IRL homie told me they fell apart due to in fighting shortly after.

I was also in an Au Ra only tribe which was pretty dope until you got to the inner circle. Individually they were cool, but together they formed this weird harem situation around the FC leader (female) and became super jealous and protective. I thought it was an in-character thing but nah son. She was friendly enough and obviously loved the attention but I got the impression that wasn’t always the case. Again the FC fell apart when the 2-3 male lead officers could not reconcile their rivalry and it spilled over to drama among the group.

  4. Glad you liked our FC house design! We are working on a large FC house in Marilith! Hopefully we'll have something special soon. (Also, sad I wasn't there for the party! – Cirrus Preiz)

  5. While first thought everyone would say "Ah it is tonberry story" somehow throughout the entire story I had a "masamune vibe" haha. Interesting story. I remember in Masamune the neko race obsessions (both mens/women) I used to fantasia neko female just to be forgiven when I messed up during prog/aim to clear and it worked. Now I use lalafell for it w

  6. I was a cat boy for years, but I fantasia'd to a lalafell as a joke around a month ago and now I like it lol. It feels so good looking like I move faster than any other race.
I never heard of cat boy only communities, but I joined a lalafell boy only discord server a couple of weeks ago. This one seems like a very exclusive thing as nobody can create invites. They also have a CWLS in every NA data center.
Turns out, the owner of the server, who the members call King (and sometimes treat him as such), is the same boy from the Lalafell Discrimination drama story.
For a time I was getting the impression that this kid was a control freak, like the Masato guy from this story. But everything was just a running joke. Before having his role as "Da King" his role used to be "Control Freak" before I joined lmao.
Being the leader of a community looks like a tough endeavor. This boy is only 18, leading a group of almost 100 lalafells who are older than him, but everyone there cares so much about him and the community, that drama rarely gets in the way. I think the most important thing as a leader is to show how much you care about the members, be humble and listen to the people who are part of the community.
There's always gonna be times in which people disagree or even resent what might happen, but having someone that shows respect and appreciation for everyone, seeing the bigger picture is what makes a healthy and prosperous community.
I'm thinking about go back to my usual catboy self and I know if I do I won't be kicked out of the server or linkshells, unlike Masato from this story did to his members. Two of the members of this "lala kingdom" were originally hyurs before using fantasia to lala, and they're still there after going back to hyur.
I hope OP feels home in that new group he found 😀
