  14. People always repeat Herod's mistake by assuming anyone was waiting for a "King Of The Jews". First of all the people were Judaeans, because they lived in Judaea. People in Galilee were called Galilaeans, people in Samaria were called Samaritans, and people in Judaea were called Judaeans. There was nobody called "Jews", that's a name adopted much later by converts to Judaism – an offshoot of Christianity (ie both Old and New Testaments teach Christ, symbolically in the Old, and literally in the New) based mostly on Oral Traditions that evolved into the blasphemous Talmud.

    Secondly Jesus wasn't a Judaean, he was a Galilaean, but Herod assumed because he was born in Bethlehem of Judaea that his parents must have been citizens of Judaea. What everyone who's read the gospel accounts knows is that his parents were traveling from their home in Nazareth of Galilee to Judaea to register for the Roman census when his mother went into labor.

    Neither Jesus or any of his followers ever referred to him as "King Of The Jews", nor would it have made any sense to do so. Judaeans, now erroneously referred to as "Jews" were only a tiny portion of the people he's king of, ie the children of Israel, and many Judaeans weren't Israelites. They were, like Herod the Great, Idumeans. (Josephus, Antiquities 13.9.1, The Jewish Encyclopedia: Edox/Idumea) There were also many Canaanites. It would make no sense to refer to Jesus as their king since doing so excludes most of his subjects, but also because he's promised to destroy the Canaanites and Idumeans.

    Jesus himself referred to Canaanites as dogs, and Idumeans as serpents and offspring of vipers, among other things.

    Jesus was an Israelite of Galilee, as were his disciples (except for Judas, chosen because he knew he'd desire to betray him due to being an Idumean from Kerioth), not a Jew. (Or a Judaean)

  17. In my research I've found that the name Jesus was a very popular name, not pronounced the same. Also Joseph was another popular name. The scriptures give the names of Jesus' brothers and sisters. Simon, James and Jude (also popular names) were some of the family. And just what kind of DNA did you hope to find/ Jesus had one human parent the other was of heavenly origin. Know your subject a bit better.

  33. The bones you have found would show definite indications of a crucifixion. Not once have you touched on that yet. So if the bones are not showing signs of crucifixion it's pretty safe to say these are not his bones. That would be the quickest way for you to convince anybody you have found the tomb of Jesus.

  35. Unbelievable, an entire program on the magnificent tomb of king Herod finally being found were there is not a glimpse seen of that tomb because it turns out it was totally and utterly destroyed. That would take me 10 seconds to digest, not 30 minutes.

  40. Herod was as vain as he was wicked and evil and deserves no recognition even though his architect skills were ahead of his time. Think of all of the innocent baby boys he had slaughtered and murdered. There was nothing great about this evil tyrant. It is dispicable to even say anything positive about him and the title of king herod the great should be taken from him; like the royals did to Diana. He was the antichrist of that time.
