  1. would it work to fatal handoff soul kanar before the last trigger?
i mean yes, the opponent gets a 5/5 for one turn, but than you get it right back and all the value starts again.

shouldnt you be loving this idea cgb?

  2. I've been playing a jeskai pure control deck in alchemy, with Choice of Fortunes to remove hand size and Cosmic Epiphany to draw a fuckillion cards. Union of the Third Path will casually gain 20 life in it.

  3. @cgb on fateful handoff there is some synergy in commander. Jon Irenicus being one a big one. And anything that likes to give opponent bad cards that you don't want on your board. The Gix command could be sweet in a Rakdos arcane bombardment spellslinger deck, that's a lot of value

  4. oh boy! I know it might not be meta but I love these artifact creatures! I've not got loads of wildcards spare but it shouldn't be too bad right! I can't wait to pla oh god they're all mythics

  5. Necro: I am struggling so hard with Druid Class/Wrenn/Cultivator Collosus in historic. It's really hard to build a 32-40 land deck that's kinda midrangey and slow. But….. It's so evergreen. I'm in abzan for it cuz 1 copy of Torment of hailfire for the memes. But damn, even abundant harvest can't find enough answers, it's hits hard, not fast. So bad but creativity is fun when it wins

  6. For Dreams of Steel and Oil, yes, you do have to choose.
You cannot fail to find if there is no doubt that you can find.
This can happen in two cases, in this case your opponent's hand is revealed and their graveyard is a public zone so you can't fail to find either.
The other case is less likely to happen, when you search for any card in a zone, you have to choose one whether or not that zone is public, unless it is empty of course.

  7. Fateful Handoff can work in a variety of ways, it's not particularly good but it might be playable.
-Blitz/Unearth/Myriad and anything that reads "lose it at end of turn".
    -Codie, Vociferous Codex.
    -before a board wipe.
-Demonic Pact if you can make it into a creature.

  8. As someone who loathes the previous Teferis this one doesn't feel as bad because it's not about bouncing, leaving up mana for counter magic, or otherwise interacting with the opponent. This is a proactive Teferi not a reactive one and I'm all for that
