The conversation Butcher had with Hughie was the "death" of his humanity being foreshadowed and the birth of his evil and merciless transformation came forth after Ryan killed Grace.

Kimiko kissed frenchie but was saddened that he didn't reciprocate the kiss and felt ashamed. but frenchie kissed back.
The cancer in butcher withheld back the V compound and thus he was actually dying. the V in his blood was a carrot on a stick barely keeping him alive until the alter ego could get butcher to give up control and agreed to its term of becoming the dominant alter ego. once he surrendered control the alter ego fixed up butcher from his cancer and gives him powers as long as he agrees to the new dominant alter ego.

90/60. Thats good for me. Mines 74/62. Got heart surgery Friday the 26th. And Monday following. Its funny im repeating history. This time last year i died and was brought back and had emergency open heart surgery. Month unconscious. Died twice. Guess if things don't go well ill be seeing the other side a third time. I think the gods are getting tired of me. And yes, theres more than one God. Why do you think God says have no others before me. Anywho.

Fun fact. The creators of this show is also Supernatural. The shape shifters in both shows tore their skins off. They also use the same actors between both shows, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Jensen Ackles etc. Supernatural was on for 15 years and there is a reason for that. I know its allot of seasons but Its worth it!
Lmfao after all that you really ignored the fact that butcher was dying from the tumor? No it wasn’t an act for Ryan, he looks fine because Kessler(the tumor) isn’t killing him anymore and basically healed him. At the cost of having to give control.
I noticed a tiny little detail I missed on the first watch-through of this ep – Ashley #2 NOT being on the list. When she presumably knows a LOT of the same information that CEO Ashley knows. She was DEFINITELY there for Homelander's orders to CREATE the list. Yet, she's not on it. Kinda like Ashley's assistant that she fired for his own protection. I think Ashley deliberately left her OFF the list to protect her. Kinda sucks that it didn't work. 🙁
That season finale was incredible. Totally turned the season around in my estimation. I would say it was the best finale they've had yet.
