I don't understand the rules of The Boys. Homelander had a kid, Ryan, and Ryan developed superpowers (seemingly in line with Homelander's). But Neuman's kid needed Compound V to develop superpowers (and who knows which ones)? And if supes can have supe children at least some of the time, and if they have been around since around WWII, where are all the other "children of supes" like Ryan? Wouldn't there be a whole community of superpowered offspring not under Vought's control? (We know supes are having sex…oh boy do we know that.)

Sonic wasn't in love. He said the truth, he was doing the right thing because he cared for her. I don't think he was lying, he's treating her as a platonic friend hell maybe even a sister at this point. She's the nicest Supe we've met. Nicer than Kimiko. Hell Sonic is the literal only other Supe we've seen that's near Star's level of good. Maybe Blindspot but we didn't get enough to say. It's not surprising that Sonic would care about SL considering how friendly & cool she is. I don't think he loved her romantically anymore, there's a possibility sure but even if he did I think he fully realized & was comfortable with the fact that they'd never be a thing.
But low-key I liked them more than her & Hughie. I actually think Hughie/SL is the worst main couple on the show. I liked Stormfront & Homelander more lol. At least they looked/acted good together (for them) & they were awesome villains.
Anyway, so glad you're finally at the reveal of Soldier Boy being alive. Good stuff.

Soldier boy is the best. A train might be the worst hl close second.
It took until watching your reaction for me to notice the moment of A-Train’s heel turn. It was during the scene in Vought Tower when Newman’s press conference took a turn.
Homelander gave his speech about how there’s no one to hide behind anymore, and then there’s a brief shot of A-Train clearly thinking some stuff over. I believe this was the moment he decided that giving up Supersonic would win him some favor with Homelander, since it was obvious no one would be putting a stop to the humiliation he had been enduring (and that, if anything, things would escalate).
Super Sonic's power was super strength and being able to clap his hands to produce a destructive sound wave, like the Incredible Hulk.

If you haven't put it two and two together that butcher has the same powers as homelander and hughie has similar ish powers as A-Train. The zoom zoom of it all. The 2 sups they hate.
I really hope now you've broken the seal on animation you check out Season 1 of Invincible in next few months, it's a critical acclaimed Amazon show also exec produced by Rogen & Goldberg, it's based on a comic too, bit like a 90's cartoon crossed with The Boys for want of a better description. It's good fun. Also you want more Black Noir huh….. :). Love the reaction as always.

In this episode I learned, when I binged watched the whole season, that Soldier Boy poses the biggest threat to ALL sups. The ability to take away all compound V powers away from all the sups.
I'm not sure the SuperHamster was distinguishing between good and bad people (never in my life did I think I would type a sentence like that lol), The Russian guard was just the closest thing to it when it went off.
if the time limited compound V is deadly then why not take the blue one
power stays and not deadly

If you like Antony Starr (Homelander) performance I strongly suggest you do reaction on 'Banshee' with him in main role, excellent and very underrated series.
