  1. About the ToL that are left, here are my thoughts.

    Tomb Kings I cannot see what would change. I think, as you mentioned, that they are in a good spot with their positionals and style. I find them very boring myself but that is just me.

    High Elves need something to differentiate them from the other elven teams. For now they only got "good thrower" and "as tough as dark elves" and I do not think that is enough. My thoughts involve leaning into the idea of them "playing by the book" and "perfecting their roles." EU have best catchers (and blitzers) down so I wonder if they will do something with the HE linemen? One idea was to give them MA5 but another skill that leans into "perfect linemen" territory. Block is too strong, I think. Wrestle? Or something that will change up their playstyle, like Side Step. MA5 Sidestep lineelves sounds frustrating as hell but also very characterful!

    Chaos dwarves then. I think they also need something. They are boring, IMO. I think they need more dwarf positionals! But not more dwarves! So here is my thinking. Why would proud chaos dwarves give the glory to their hobgoblin slaves? I want Chaos dwarf runners or blitzers! Say 0-2 of those, taken from the "dwarf allottment" to reduce chaos dwarf blockers to 0-4. Maybe even have runners AND blitzers and blockers, 0-2 of each.
    Or maybe add a sneaky hobgoblin positional with Stab or Sneaky Git?

    I've no idea how it will go, but it should be fun. What is your thoughts on getting thick skull as a double still on the thralls to give a bit of "protection" against KO's on that injury roll?

  3. Agree that High Elves need a few changes to make them a bit less vanilla. Starting with Cloud Burster is nice, but it's so situational that I think they need a bit more. White Lion Blitzers – ST3 with Dauntless sounds like a reasonable alternative to a straight ST4 upgrade. The team's existing loadout of skills suggests they're meant to be 'the' passing team, so perhaps we'll see a new unique skill (like Hit & Run, Drunkard, Bloodlust) related to passing? "Whenever this player rolls a result of Wildly Inaccurate during a pass action, treat the result as Inaccurate instead" – something like that?

    I don't have enough familiarity with Tomb Kings to comment on them, but they don't seem too out of place compared to modern teams. Same for Chaos Dwarves really, though I would like to see the Enslaved Minotaur's nega-trait changed to Unchannelled Fury just to maintain consistency across all Minotaurs in the game.

    The Old World is apparently going to use larger base sizes to accommodate GW's preference for larger models in recent years, so I'm not sure how well people's old collections are going to fit into the new game. I guess as long as you're using a movement tray that's the right size for the new rules, it shouldn't affect the gameplay too much? Never played Fantasy Battle so I'm just going on what little I know about ranks, formations etc. for that one.

  4. Chaos dwarfs were my favorite team to play in blood bowl 2, however I think the new rules t makes them not only slightly worse but also more boring. It’s harder and even undesirable to get mutations on chorfs now, and the nerf to break tackle makes bull centaurs significantly less fun. The hobgoblins are more fun because of the random skills but it’s a dwarf team not a hobgoblin team. Need something to make the dwarfs more fun and the bull centaurs more fun. It’s interesting that you were talking about that dark elf player is usually a chorf player, as those are my 2 favorite teams. they actually are more similar than you would think, at least back when bull centaurs had 2+ dodge with break tackle.

  5. In my league practice games. I am running 1 thrower, 2 blitzers, and 2 runners. I like the runners as the gazing setup pieces as they can dash around the pitch with the Mov 8 and gaze. Then if you keep them close to the ball a simple quick pass while in opponents half and their gone.

  6. Beastmen team!!! Sure, that may require Chaos change up a bit, but honestly marauders instead of Gors would be a bit more thematic and totally work! Give them the viking helms and you can even justify keeping Horns as a starting skill

Underworlds is the least interesting team, disappointed they choose them, it seems like the only reason BB3 decided they'd be the best team is because they wouldn't have to do any 3d modelling as all the players are already in the game. Should have been necromantic or something similarly different from what's already in the game

  8. BB2>BB3 (Rules wise as well) Only thing I like more in 3 is cinematics in the campaign and probably stuff like throw a rock.
    Space Hulk theme with Killteam???? the whole last season was on a spacehulk.

  9. For the old world I recon we will get the old kits to begin with but new lords and then slowly they will upgrade the kits who needs it if the game survives that long I hope it does I got 3000p of Dawi stomping their feets and pulling beards in grudge delirium

  10. Running my 5-3 list in league and they're doing quite well. A bit swingy, but overall I've no issue using vamps. You just have to be content with turnovers, and remember you can bite the same poor stunned thrall by multiple vamps if needed. Blitzer can be real rough with bloodlust 3+, I think running 2 blitzers is a recipe for disaster, but the Vargheist claws really help trim beefy blockers

  11. I know the rumours er ST4 high elves, but as many others I'm not really sure it would make sense for elves to have access to ST4 positionsl… but! What about guard elves instead? White Lion blockers with ST3 and guard would kinda serve as pseudo-ST4 pieces – and would lore-wise be more acceptable (at least in my eyes).
    And no other positional in the game has guard from the get-go, so this would really add some uniqueness to the team

  12. My internet is pretty bad since our last power outage. I disconnect roughly every half hour. Blood Bowl 3 won't reconnect me. When I log back in, I get music and a black screen, and I never get back to the game.

  13. For me online bb is dead I played a lot of bb2 but bb3 is not for me I found it a messy fiddly ui bug filled mess and I refuse to touch it again till the rip off season pass is done so 2 seasons. I'm 100% table top now
