  1. My guess is the time limit mentioned is regarding the day and night cycle, like some explorations/tasks or missions could only be done during the day or night. So some things can be done using the vampire abilities at night which cannot be done during the day as a human being. Just a wild guess

  2. The real question is whether the day/night cycle is something we choose, or if it just happens on its own. If we could control when it transitions from day to night, we’d have more time to do everything. But perhaps there’s more to it, like how helping one person might cause others to dislike you. It’s still too early to know for sure!. Metaphor: ReFantazio also had something like this, but you had so many days before you had to do something and i never really felt rush by it! 🙂 Just made every choose feel more impact full 🙂

  3. Hmmmm seems like this game has time consequences just like Exodus does. I think both games will execute these time consequences differently thought. Interesting that Cohh didn’t voice concerns about Exodus time consequences…😮

  4. My guess is the story is going to be something like the movie Daybreakers where vampires rule the world and we the humans are like very valuable food , that is why the main vampire in the trailer was so mad at that king or whatever he was "Blood spilt carelessly like water" . If i have not watched Daybreakers you should .

  5. I'll buy it if the game is good.. I am just skeptical with zombie and vampire games.. So far, not too hype about it. For those who are not aware yet, especially those who hate CP2077, it will be first person perspective, sandbox narrative.. so I expect it to be like CP2077 like gameplay and quest system. I like CP2077 but just what I mentioned earlier. and there will be time limit..

  6. I personally love open world games because of the freedom of exploration they offers, but if you put a type of constraint to that freedom, wouldn't that take away the reason why I like open world? That would annoys me. It's still too early to say wether it's a good thing or bad, but just the idea of time constraint to an open world really bothering me.

  7. I imagine something in the vein of Persona where you have a timetable and everything you do (quests etc.) costs time. What you do is up to you, but you can only do so much in the given timeframe.

  8. I absolutely love the concept of each vampire being a soldier from different ethnicities/societies that are from different times of human society: The bald vampire appears to be carrying a Roman era weapon, probably a gladius, which could be a good indicator of how old the vampire is.
The other looks like Genghis Khan or any nomad from Mogolic descent.

  9. Yeah, classic help ppl in "side quests" make your army of helpers (like: witcher 3, cyberpunk 2077, bladurs gate 3, Horizon:ZD ) and overcome endgame baddies — classic formula for good game. but a little too used for me… not hyped about time managmant but we will see 🙂

  10. Idk i think the time based incentive makes the situation feel more dire, more impactful. They seem to heavily focus on human during the day, vampire at night (and possible conflicts when they interact), so using time as a resource system makes sense and is an interesting concept to me. Hopefully they allow saving at any place/anytime rather than location-based or autosave though. We'll see how it works in the summer anyway.

Since they claim it's sandbox I'd imagine its very dependent on various quests and storylines. But they're also a new studio, i doubt a 50+ hour game is in their wheelhouse rn (but hey i could be wrong). So replayability is probably more feasable than something like BG3, especially if there's a lot of different outcomes.

  11. Timed games, timed events, are an instant no buy for me. Hopefully this is just a miscommunication because of English not being their first language. I hope they will clarify this with the 2025 gameplay reveal.

  12. From what I gathered it's a series of quests you have, not main one. The main quest is more of a suggestion or and engame objective (kill the baddie, save the fam) and you have to manage the time limit by either gathering allies or making the enemy weaker with "sidequests". The ending will depend on what you do and who you ally with and those quests cost time.. But you can still go play a round or two of Gwent and not progress the time.

Think more like Mass Effect where you can forget getting more crew mates and doing their loyalty mission but you can get everybody killed in the process. But with like a limit of how many teammates and their missions you can do before the final mission hits. But you can still visit your favorite store in the citadel with no limits and hit a reporter on the way there.

  13. The timer thing concerns me too. I play many sandbox games the same way cohh plays, and many of them like fallout I never finish. I'll play hundreds of hours doing sidemissions or just running around the world but don't bother with main quest endings.
