  1. 1:04 Be careful if you do a rewatch of Game of Thrones, there are major spoilers for the end of HOTD. In particular, avoid the scene between Joffrey and Margaery in Season 3 Episode 4. Like, just don't watch any scene with those two in that episode (I think there's only one anyway). Joffrey just flat out spoils the ending of HOTD. So beware.

  2. It's cool how they show how dragons can be difficult to control. They're almost like loose cannons. Vhagar is a much older, OG dragon and ain't about to take no shit from some young wipper snapper dragon. She's simply too much dragon for Aemon to handle.

  3. Daemon acting like a violent and impulsive madman with everyone since episode 1 , black fan : «  what did you do this Daemon ? You’re not a feminist man ? »
    Always so funny

  4. The page Alicent sent was not to reconfirm their friendship but rather a message to run. In the story Princess Nymeria fled to Dorne with her people to save them from the dragon wars, abandoning their home. Alicent is threatening Rhaenyra to run.

  5. Daemon happily mutilated criminals while commander of the City Watch, used underhanded tactics to injure Otto's son in the Heir's Tourney, beat an innocent messenger to death for delivering good news, bludgeoned his wife to death with a rock, killed an innocent man and burned his body in the hearth, and split a man's head in half for telling the truth. And despite all this, people act surprised and angry when Daemon chokes Rhaenyra. It's an interesting study in tribalism and willful blindness, I feel.

  6. Daemon is not a good person . He wasnt since episode 1 . He disrespect his first wife then killed her in cold blood . He tried to had sex with Rhaenera when she was a kid . He had sew with Rhaenera few hours after his second wife died . He wasnt there when Rhaenera needed him during her labour . So that little choke was nothing compared to what he did . I dont understand why people are suprised .

  7. You're right about Aemond.. he said an eye for a dragon was fair exchange.. and he still wanted the eye? Wtf He's the bullied kid who turns serial killer. Everyone hates Criston but he refused to take a kids eye.. but you love Aemond.

  8. 15:33 No, Daemon is not claiming this Dragon, because a Targaryen or Valyrian Dragonlord can NOT claim more than one Dragon. Only one Dragon will join him/her. What Daemon is doing here is going to the Dragonstone Caverns, where the Targaryen Dragons that are unclaimed and/or Wild are found, to check what state they are in, since the idea is to be able to find them riders that have Valyrian blood and have more Dragons in the air to fight for them (The Blacks have many more Dragons than the Greens, 13 to 4, but the problem is that several are young or have no riders, while the only 4 of the Greens have them and three are adults). In this case Daemon is verifying the status of the Dragon Vermithor, Dragon belonging to his grandfather King Jahaerys I

  9. Vhagar realized the Targaryen wasn't STRONG in Luce? Last time had a post with historical symbolism of the coronation. This time I got nothing cause there's only 10 mfs in that joint 😂. When you gotta buy your kid the Burger King crown so they don't throw tantrums 😂😂. Jk Jk. It's a very deliberate contrast to the cold, formal & autocratic coronation of Aegon II. This feels heartwarming. Robb Stark S1 vibes, fit for the chosen one after all. It's more authentic, grassroots. more "of the soil". GRRM has a twisted way with these things. Don't forget it. The "folk" will have their say. Anyway, great season. Every actor was phenomenal. As a Green, my S2 wishlist is to see more Mommy's Favorite War Criminal slash Milf Hunter Aemond! Give Criston his tradwife Ali already! Them two staring at each other's soul was peak romance lol. My queen so pure she thinks WAP is worship & prayer 💚

  10. Can’t you stop with the uncle and niece thing we get it already 🙄 and Targaryen been f each other forever so get over it damn. You asking for daemon to kill and kill so be a okay with a lil choking. Aemond didn’t do shit it was the dragons. You would feel the same towards the person that took your eye out and not only that went they had the family dinner luke was laughing at Aemond but y’all expect him to let it go went they still laughing about it I think not

  11. "it made sense if she just killed them then and there" – killing half of your own family over what might happen in the future when no real blood had been spilled yet at that point, is a anime villain gigachad move but has no rational or logical basis. Rhaenys hasn't read the book to know what happens next. What makes you think all the houses siding with Hightowers, the Faith of the Seven, etc would not rise in revolt against the Velaryons if they commit such a dastardly act of killing the king during his coronation? Oh and Rhaenys believes Rhaenyra killed her son lol.

  12. They aren’t baby dragons….they are full grown dragons just younger then Vaghar ….but not babies….all dragons are out matched during this compared to Vaghar with the exception of Cannibal but he has not appeared in the show

  13. I suggest checking out the interview Emma did with GQ magazine, cos she actually addresses the choking scene with Daemon. It’s pretty insightful, and includes a bit of what she and Matt discussed regarding the emotions and motivations of Rhaenyra and Daemon in that moment. If it’s any consolation, according to them, Daemon had never been violent towards Rhaenyra ever in their marriage till that moment. It was to punctuate just how much being rejected by Viserys again (from beyond the grave) hurt Daemon + the trauma conga line of the day, that he crossed the line that he otherwise would never cross.

I am hoping, I'm sure beyond all hope, that they cast Dominique Tipper, Naomi Nagata from The Expanse, to play a character in later seasons named "Nettles/Netty." She would be perfect for the part.

  15. Dragon dreams have always been nightmares and prophecies of doom. Doom of Valyria, Song of Ice and Fire, beast beneath the boards, Aegon wearing the conquerors crown. Viserys thought his was a good omen that he would finally have a son but it was a dire warning of doom. It was a nightmare about his son stealing the crown and throne which caused a massive war that almost destroyed House Targaryen, his family and the realm. His son was never supposed to sit on that throne and the Hightowers were never supposed to rule
