Honestly (in my opinion) the split-pad pro’s aren’t worth it
I bought the binbok and I regret it – the rumble was so bad on them that it was rumbling louder than the game and yet still felt awful. They were the opposite of the joycon in that they were just far too big and they lacked half the features of the joycon like, HD Rumble, NFC and IR functionality. Best way to play is still either pro controller or just standard joycon.
I thought thumb grips were unnecessary but I bought some and I tried playing without them the other day and I just can’t thumb grips are actually so nice
The only product that I would say EVERYONE should have is the pro controller. Way better than the joy-cons, even in the grip frame thing. And a Switch carrying case if you play handheld (you can get a good one with room for the dock, power cord, pro controller, and a bunch of games for around $30).
