One thing to mention with the weights and the monorail elevator is that you have a 50% chance someone already farmed on public server. So unless you have access to private server you may have to server jump few times to find one that hasn't been farmed. Lucky hole mine seems to be the best bet not being farmed.

Good memories, ammo was scarce,nowadays ammo is everywhere. I no longer craft and I retired my favorite ammo factory perk card.
The Kill Box also has a bunch of weights. There’s one other place in drawing a blank on, but I run everywhere else you do.
Another great method, that I do mixed in with this run is Can Chimes. Places like Pleasant Valley and Camden Park are stupid full of them and give you a good amount of lead too.
You don't need a full set of excavator for the mine bonus, you only need the arms. You need the full set for the bonus 100lbs of carry weight. Personally, it's the only set I use, but if you really want to min-max and don't mind a non-matched set, EG, you want a non-legacy PA jetpack, you absolutely can just toss the arms on the frame with a better torso, legs, and head.
Breach and Clear is a a decent event to gain a pretty fair amount of Lead and Steel. The only downside is that there's a timer on when the ore will refresh so one can't farm it. Also has a chance to drop the Disease Cure Ash Heap recipe
When I was a low level it was so hard to come by. Then when I got to high level I just get lazy and buy it from NPC vendors 😅 Usually I just go through The Whitespring and multiple vendors usually have it.

How often can you repeat this farm?
I do appreciate you indicating that you've cleared out places before you visited it because it can cost quite a bit of ammo (aka lead) to clear out places which counteracts the point of farming lead.
