Great tutorial! You are such an incredible talent, thank you for sharing your gift of photography. I have purchased all of your courses and they have made such a tremendous impact on my own photography.
Great video Serge! Iceland was such a treat!
Thanks for sharing your LRc process.
I cant find the book?
Nice video. How long would it take to learn the basics of Lightroom? Thanks in advance.
Superb tutorial thank you
Serge I've watched the presentation for your raw files and I have to tell you a little "secret". I am from Tuscany; Isola d'Elba to be exact. I felt like being home! Thank you Serge!!!
God doesn't make mistakes, the camera does. 🙂
thanks – nice tutorial.
Salut Serge!,
Superbe vidéo as usual! C'est grâce à vous que j'ai appris la photo et LR il y'a plusieurs années de ça.. et je continue encore et encore à me régaler de vos tutos!
Un grand merci pour la transmission de votre passion et de vos connaissances!
I loved the video. The singing??? (keep the day job). It was helpful to see an Urban image along with a Nature image. Did you know if you hold the shift key the linear gradient stays horizontal?
Dodge and Burn is the key 🔥🥰💙
I finally understood what dodging and burning is and how to do it. Thank you!
God doesn’t make mistakes. Film and camera manufacturers are not God and therefore photoshop and Lightroom are needed to correct the tonal ranges that extremely expensive camera, lens and film manufacturers cannot correct.
Fabulous tutorial! Please do more.
my favorite teacher . regards from EGYPT hope see u here sooooon
Thank you — I enjoyed your video
Hello Serge, great video ! Where is the link to your book, which you mentioned in the video ? as I can't find it . Thanks in advance
Great longer video Serg. It really helps.
How do I get the free book?
+5!
Great video ❤
Very nice tutorial. Just a question: what mac are you using? Seems a bit too slow for a mac.
The second photo is amazing
Your work reminds me so much of Thomas Kinkade, often referred to as the "Master of Light". You are indeed a master in your own unique style of painting light with a digital brush. Thanks for your generous gift of teaching those of us aspiring to be artists.
Great video. I'm getting the Serge Ramelli Signature Presets + Landscape Masterclass + Preset Training but I can't find the link to the book you talked about on this video.
Ansel Adam took better phototos than just doing overly dramatic post processing 😛 😛 😛 In the second picture you could have made cyan colored sun to draw attention 😛 😛 😛
Merci beaucoup! Great video indeed. Could you do such a video for wildlife and bird photos?
Another great video Serge
A good explanation of the tools in Lightroom but when dodging and burning, you still have to work in the direction of the light source as in the second photo that you were editing, where the sun is on the lower horizon which would of made from the viewers side of the island and mounds dark with maybe the tops with light halo and sides bathed in light. Just know that if you want a realistic interpretation and that is what we are talking about, then light direction has to be taken into account. Just one other thing , what was that on top of the roof of the building which looked like blown out pixels in the first photo? I am sorry if I seem to be picky but that is just me, I do like to critique when it comes to photography, sorry.
An easier way to handle the gradient filter with the sky is to first select the sky, and then use the intersect function to add the gradient or whatever other tool. That will limit the tool to just the sky. So instead of going small and then big, do the opposite. Same results but it's a bit easier. Love your overall look. I learned most of my post processing from your videos. Thank you so much.
