omg my first thought when I saw the title was "I wonder where they put Castlevania sotn" and its right there that's wild.
Other than Tetris and Pacman, I haven't played any of these games. Guess I'm not much of a mainstream gamer.
fun video but these kinda of videos gonna always be a win lose situation. Because those games that gave you sweet childhood memories are always gonna be dear to the heart and when you dunk a game that's dear to someone in bad or decent etc. it just hurts. I hardly played Playstation games but so many games are also missing here. So many classics are not mentioned –

I played most of my childhood games in 90's so lots of 90's games are master pieces for me:
Doom2, Ultima Underworld 1&2, X-com 1, Unreal Tournament, Indian Jones Fate of Atlantis, and bro… Half-life is a master-piece. It was so out of it s league at the time… And dude… Sonic on Sega mega drive is an absolute classic… gotta rate sonic higher… how many hours spent playing sonic… they even made 2 movies on him.…
Things to consider also when rating a masterpiece is its impact on gaming and how games were made after. Also their play ability still today. Not every game has to have a crazy story to make it a master piece. Sometimes u just wanna relax and play without too much thinking and listening, and those games you end up playing thousands of hours they are imo masterpieces.
The original Doom is probably one of the most impactful games in history period and to not rate it a master piece is criminal. I still play it and watch doom content and there is still a community building mods and maps still today.
Anyways, a tough one and today's games are so ahead in graphics, story and game play its hard for older games to compete in certain areas. But sometimes less is more.
