Standard has rotated, so these cards from Strixhaven and Adventures in the Forgotten Realms might be good pickups, in case they fail to get reprinted or their price drops in the near future! Keep your eyes on these cards!

Teleportation Circle is actually not the same as Conjurer’s Closet, as it specifies that the exiled thing returns under the owner’s control. Conjurer’s Closet says “your control” allowing you to keep stuff you stole from opponents with stuff like Sower of Temptation. So while the same decks might want both, Teleportation Circle does have limitations.
What about the Man Lands from AFR?
Baleful Mastery actually sees a smidge of cEDH play. it turns out, forcing an opponent to draw a card at instant speed has some uses in a Thoracle meta
Two things Conjurer's Closet has going for it that is better then Teleportation Circle is that you can play it in any deck, that's obvious it's colorless. The not so obvious is that Conjurer's Closet returns the exiled creature to play under your control. It is a way red decks can steal creatures until end of turn and then keep them indefinitely. Niche but useful in the right deck. If you are in blue Thassa, Deep-Dwelling has the same wording as Conjurer's Closet and is an indestructible version on top of that. I've removed both from my decks, even my flicker one, but they are still good for casual ETB's matter decks.
I used Artificer's Intuition to tutor up Treasure Vault to my hand in a game recently and it performed so well. It being a tutorable land made it so much better. If you want to stay even on mana off of Urza's Saga you can tutor up Treasure Vault and then use it to go positive on mana next turn. So much utility in one card.
without going infinite I was able to pump 18 mana into X with Crackle with Power. was fun af
Petition to bring back shuffle N Scuffle please!
actually so excited to finally watch one of these on my birthday
Sad for the two standard player that moxfield is rotating.
wandering archaic is 4€
I think besides Deadly Rollick, Baleful Mastery is one of the best removals in black. Instant speed exile for 2. Destroy is cool and all, but exile insures it doesn't come back. Snuff Out is also really good, but if I have the option between destroy and exile, I'm going exile 9 times out of 10.
Wandering Archaic is a work horse soft stax peice in my orvar deck. completely hoses spell sling decks when he's on the field.
Baleful mastery in Sheoldred is all upside
I just played in a cEDH tournament and played against Wandering Archaic once, it basically nullified my counter magic because if I couldn't pay the two, then they'd get a copy of my counter and target my original counter
I’d toss in Plumb the Forbidden as a post rotation pick up for Strixhaven. In sacrifice decks you can draw 4 or 5 cards for two mana at instant speed
The thing that makes Lolth so good is that, with most Planewalkers that make chump blockers, you might be able to chump block one opponent, but then either they just run extra attackers into her, or the other two opponents have a free swing, because your chump blockers are now dead. With Lolth, on the other hand, when your cump blockers die she gains loyalty, so the other opponents are less likely to have what they need to take her out.
The treasure spellslinger deck does exist. You nailed it, it's Galazeth. All those stupid Unexpected Windfall cards cost 2 mana essentially with him. Really easy to rack up tons of treasure (shout out to expressive iteration) and win with another card on this list Crackle with Power. Also this is the reminder to kill Academy Man ON SITE. That card in this deck is disgusting.
I've been picking up Xorn's when I can. I have about 8 extras, card will without a doubt several dollars in a few years
im guessing he add in the next video so that I Can't cheat because im predicting the future so @7:42 is when im guessing
Xorn 1 Buck? I dont think so
I need to fill a few more catch all 1-2cmc creature removal slots behind Terminate, Go For The Throat, Feed The Swarm and Pongify for Nekusar. Baleful Mastery fits that bill and the draw = damage. Thanks guys!!
Looking like dsp
Made me think I was sitting on a goldmine showing wandering archaic at $30 Lolol. Ran for my strixhaven binder REAL quick.
Expressive is seeing consistent legacy play def worth a pick up
Even at 7 powerlevel deck, I started to enjoy Lolth in my monoblack juste because her spiders does have Reach. There is so many good Flyers nowadays I'm glad I'm getting free protection every single turn as long as she stick around.
Totally beside the point, but I would argue Chandra wrote the book on six mana planeswalkers since she has SEVEN of them. Sidenote: WHY DOES CHANDRA HAVE SEVEN SIX MANA PLANESWALKERS!?
