  1. As a veteran of the series, you did really well for a beginner. And I'm not just saying that to compliment you, you actually did. Using guard counters, sneaking up on enemies for a backstab, knowing when to fight or run are huge things that I've seen many people not pick up on and quit because of it.

  2. Did he not read *ANYTHING*? At first I thought “maybe he’s just being a silly” but then I started to notice how he had no idea how to use his shield

  3. Yo, you could team up with RT and the two of you could conquer this game together 'cause RT's done some of the other soulsbournes and Elden Ring is able to be played in Multiplayer

  4. I always have a smile on my face whenever I watch Kevin's videos. But nothing compared to the smile I had when I saw him walking around and crouching like a gremlin. I'm glad to see you're in good health, Kevin

  5. I know this game is hard and people get pretty high and mighty about the souls games, but the pure joy that I felt watching Kevin having fun and beating that boss is unmatched. We are witnessing the making of a military genius.

  6. Any level of gameplay can be enjoyable in a video… "In a video". Time lapses aside, you seemed like you eventually found a pretty solid way to beat the boss a way that worked best for your build. Sometimes, all it takes is to time your attacks differently to break your enemy's stance mid-attack.
But I watched RT's stream and caught him at 3 hours into his first run. He was miraculously bad. He was still naked. He had no horse whistle. And most irksome of all, he was in an area that I hadn't even found in at least twice that playtime. It was entertaining in it's own way, but I had to stop watching to avoid spoilers. xD

  7. Okay, first off, Kudos to FROM software for somehow managing to make pretty much the same game for years and years and still do it awesomely. XD And damn, Kevin, I think you got a lot farther than I would have! I would have stuck to chasing down those rolling goats for — I dunno, twenty levels? Or however it works in this game? XD

  8. I don’t know if you’ve done this already but can you please do pacifist rust…. That would be a true test of your charisma and military genius

  9. Just to arm you with the knowledge, most from software games you can lock on to enemies. You can also parry and get a free attack in if you do a heavy shield attack before an enemy's attack lands.

  10. Kevin you did well for a new player but maybe try locking on that should help you out with enemy. Also you should take advantage of backstabs by just taping the standard attack button rather than doing a heavy attack and take advantage of critical attacks in the same way except facing your opponent. Good luck and I look forward to more adventures from scared.
