Hey Alicia!
great video alic
Can you pick up one piece
Not sure if it was intentional (it probably was), but I think that little line about the love hotel allowing interspecies couples might be a commentary on the fact that a lot of love hotels in Japan don't allow gay couples, especially gay men.
Rouis doesn't care about anyone but himself, that whole scene with the lion was about affirming his own confidence against a carnivore. It wasn't for Haru or Legoshi.
This episode was always so scary and weirdly beatiful to me. Thing is, I'm a pretty big guy, and well aware of how slightly underneath the skin afraid a lot of women are of people like me. This is blown up to very blunt proportions, but it's basically what's going on. So, you become like Legoshi, you turn down all the shit, body posture small, decisions careful, but the capabilities you have never leave your mind and turn into OCD.
It's just ehh, it's something you're never not aware of, that's why it's very cool to see it portrayed.
On the other hand I am entirely sure a lot of people identify more with Haru, I've had a lot of conversations with people who do.
It's just a good fucking show.
Prey animals may sacrifice a limb in order to keep a predator's jaws away from their neck, or to distract them long enough to flee.
I don't know if this is true or not, but there is this believe that a rabbit would get inside a predators mouth to try to suffocate them
I can relate to Legoshi if you harm someone I love you can bet your ass the demon inside of me will awaken and you will pay a heavy price for doing so. Angel by birth Demon by choice.
Straight up my favorite episode of the entire show so far. Absolutely no notes. We'll see if Season 3 can top it.
Love that you rock out to three days grace!
When you finish the season check out beastars in 8 minutes by team fourstar
Completely unrelated to the anime but when you mentioned the spider I half expected your Vtuber model to jump up to go kill it
not the three days grace 😭
I’m not sure if this is true, but there’s a belief that when a rabbit is in a hopeless situation it gets so stressed out that sometimes it’ll decide to hop into the predators mouth to go out faster. I guess that’s what inspired that scene with Haru and Legosi.
Louis casually attempting suicide via getting eaten is somehow, so very in character.
Oh, yeah, I forgot, prey animals do that sometimes
15:48 yeah this a Catherine vibe for sure,I miss playing that game
Strange as it may sound, it is actually documented behavior for prey animals to throw themselves at predators when they find themselves in a no escape situation just to end the fear. Didn't know that before I watched either. The More You Know.
She's been fighting her instincts as much as he is has this whole show.
I mean we do have red light districts in Germany… but also brothels on main street
So, looking around, there's apparently an old wive's tale about how rabbits, when cornered, will leap into a predator's mouth to make their death less painful. Far as I can find, they don't actually do this, but that's where that last scene was getting that idea from.
Haru has ignored her instincts all this time when near Legoshi and shoving her arm into his mouth is like a last ditch attempt at a wake up call from them going "girl no, this is what will happen to you, stop it now"
"You guys know what a red light district even is?"
Girl are you insulting us right now? 😂😂😂
Those lions who saw Louis don't actually have guns. It was just for the drama and aesthetics of that scene.
Yeah the whole "herbivores actually want to be eaten" is the only thing in the show that kinda pulls me out of it
German and english are more alike than you think.
Wir wissen was ein Rotlichtbezirk ist.
