An interesting episode for sure! Missed Batgirl in this episode!
If previous episodes didn't make you realize this then this one did. On how many tech combinations Batman has for his utility belt. It really shows how much overpowered tech this Batman has.
I knew you would ask why batgirl wasn’t in this episode. Don’t worry man she will be back.
Awesome
oh and next episode has something that would make Batman( TAS version) jealous.
Fistful of Felt, is a play on the classic Clint Eastwood western Fistful of Dollars where two rival families go to war for control a town.
I'm 90% sure the title of this episode is a reference to the movie "A Fistful of Dollars", in addition to the fact that Mr. Snoots is made of, well, felt. One thing I find interesting about this episode is that it seems to confirm that this version of Scarface really is just an alternate personality of Wesker, which is slightly disappointing; I always liked the versions of the Ventriloquist where it was unclear whether Scarface was actually alive or not.
Mr snoots looks like a muppet
I think felt is a type of material that's in puppets. It was basically a hint towards Scarface. Also, Batgirl is not in every episode, she's more like supporting cast before a series regular upgrade
This is by far the best portrayal of Hugo Strange I've ever seen outside of the comics. In this version, Strange isn't out for money or power, he just wants to satisfy his own curiosity and he's willing to treat humans like lab rats in order to do it. Also, that's Richard Green voicing Strange now, Frank Gorshin unfortunately died shortly after they finished recording his lines for season 2. And while I know this might seem callous, I actually think this was for the best. Green just gives the character a lot more energy.
I really like Hugo Strange in this show. And the fact he's voiced by the same actor who played the Riddler in the Batman 66 show…
My favorite episode
And here we see where Batman gets the infamous “Giant Penny” prop for the Batcave in this continuity.
Some episodes will have batgirl and while others don’t, it make variety
In the opening fight Batman uses a saw to cut a giant penny from the ceiling. This penny is an homage to the penny seen in the bat cave in the comic books and in the Batman animated series. Fun Fact
In a strange way, this episode reminds the "Judgment Day" from Batman The Animated Series, where other Batman Villan had to struggle with a third personality.
I like that since we don’t seem to have Two face in this version we have Scar Face who was 3 personalities this episode lol. Very interesting & Strange being involved was great & id just assume since Barbra is a teenager she has the excuse to do school & her dad is Gordon so she has stuff to keep her busy & she isn’t in the loop with Bruce so she comes when she comes
I know having Batgirl in every single episode would be like a dream for you, but to be fair, she's not like Robin/a Robin who's always going to be by Batman's side. I think it helps in differentiating her from being considered the "Robin stand-in" of the show for now and is instead the occasional partner who shows up when she thinks Batman might need some backup.
I hope you react to Generator Rex if you decide to do the Ben 10 sequels
Hey new here, I actually found you through your Ben 10 reactions but The Batman and the promise of Alien Force after the og Ben 10 made me want to sub in the end! 🙂
