We had storms! The strongest winds ever recorded on the island. So of course we lost trees and power and water – and the internet. Now the internet’s back now but it still took 24 hours to upload this video. But here it is and I hope it was worth the wait : – )
Building a kick junction for the narrow gauge railway that joins the tracks in the barn to the rest of the tracks in the field. I love it!

nice job gentlemen !
Another big grin episode. Thanks!
You guys should make like a grass blower to clean the rails
Very lovely. I'm suprised this wasn't done sooner!
This also means you may need a buffer at the end of the garlic…
Great video, Tim! Looks like a good deal of fun!
Could you not grind out a deeper trough in the concrete on the insides of the workshop rails to accommodate the taller flanges? Or would that not be worth the effort?
i've never felt so excited c:
Hope the farm is all intact after that storm, it was bad here, can’t imagine how bad it was in the Republic of Ireland.
It will be soon that a spinning platform becomes needed as the system grows.
Perfect
I think the next project should be a weeder attachment of some kind
I wonder if you could carve out some of the concrete around the tracks in the barn, and re-pour it with plastic spacers inside the rails, so when you want to use the farm wagons, you can pull the spacers and have a much deeper track (without a risk of tripping whenever you don't need the deeper track.)
🙂
The W.O.W. Railroad is growing nicely.

Is this what January weather looks like in Ireland? Or did you record this on a sunny day in November or something? We get sunny and mild-temperature breaks in the January weather in Quebec too but we don't get chirping birds and green grass like that for another couple of months yet!
You should build a repair/build car that can be moved on the rails. Something you can mount a press or vise and the like on.
a classic bicycle reinforcement, love it:)
🙂
Garlic looking good and what a brilliant idea
Yet again a brilliant interesting video cheer Sandra and Tim. hoping all is well, stay safe out there with all this horrible weather.
Bicycle Reinforced Concrete yayyyyyy
