  1. As a Peugeot owner, I can safety say to change to stud pattern.
Luckily, the Peugeot has a bad offset as well so I'm able to run a 4×108 to 4×100 20mm spacer/adaptor and run Civic/Nissan wheels

  2. Does Scotto have any C4 parts laying around? Maybe a 6 speed 01E he would let go? Also the bearings are notorious for being a pain in both removal and installing, I ordered 2 sets just in case the last time I replaced mine.

Edit: Apikol makes brackets to allow larger calipers. I have 996 front and just got on the group buy for the rears of my UrS6. Definitely worth it because replacement oem calipers are non existent and why rebuild when there's far better options.

  3. Ferrari…. Not finished….. New project?
For the love of God. I work 60 hours a week I come home, not able to build my own cars anymore and I am just dying to see this white k swapped Ferrari hit the track.. but no, I get to see you set it aside and start on another one. That's great and all but we need our first love taken care of first. Got me feeling like you don't love us anymore… Jk. We know you do and we still love you. Stay strong brother! And please do not let my pains discharge you! You can do it. You are the one!

  4. Three things:
-I have a nice set of 5×112 hub swap if interested!
-since you said you want rear vented rotors once you do the 5×112 swap you could use b5 s4 caliper carriers and d2 s8 calipers to retain the handbrake
-Wouldn’t have been better if you’ve gotten a rear late cq subframe with sway bar provision?

  5. IIRC The rear diff may be similar internally to a Porsche 951 which had a torsen option. The Audi V8 used a rear torsen also. I think for the later cars like my B5 it was the 951 unit which was the go-to design.

  6. This may sounds wierd but your voice is perfekt for narrrating, storytelling, audiobooks etc. Your change in rythm is uncommon and very important to capture a crowd that is new to a subject.

  7. I found your channel via DeBoss Garage, and have been hooked ever since. I watched all the 244 GTK episodes and have a great respect for your skills. I can only hope to have the shop and tools you have available. Keep up the great work and unique projects.

  8. about the wheel bearing removal: Im not sure about the B4, but my C4 UrS6 (very similar suspension assembly) wheel bearings had some C-clips in front of them that were so rusted in place that I could not tell that they were there. Might be worth verifying there's no C-clip so rusted in place that it just looks like a part of the knuckle.

  9. You burn the metal eye centers out of the wishbones, then take a Sawzall and cut the metal shell in half the busing drops right out. I use a 3" of length of pipe and some large washer in a vice to install new ones on my B2 cars. The B4 front A arms are cast iron, I thing the bushings are larger that the B2 ones, and the ur quattro ones are like a Dasher, Santana, VW Fox and Audi Fox ….
