The Ash 12 isn't a meme anymore – Escape from Tarkov – Gameplay

I have always had fun running the Ash 12, but it wasn’t a serious weapon for most PvP situations. With all the changes in Patch 12.12 it has a legitimate place in people’s arsenals now, even at range.

  1. bro the ASh-12 slaps. I was worried to use it last wipe (first wipe) but i equipped that bad boy after finding another on Gluhar during the end of wipe event and his boys glitched out in interchange and didnt fire back. Immediately fell in love. This gun, even with PS12, is fantastic. Full auto isnt even required. Didn't have PS12B at the time outside of what Gluey had on him, this gun doesn't fuck around.

  2. The Ash can be super fun close to mid range and with the limitations of armor this patch it has even become better.
I just wish they would finally implement a sound enhancer for that weapon that amplifies the sound so much it drives fear into the hearts of my enemies when they hear me shoot all across the map.

  3. Do you honestly believe a lvl9 is stream aniping just because he shot at you after you ran through the open right n3xt to their location lol. He didnt even follow you for more than 20m or throw grenades at your old locations.

  4. Pretty dumb to be running infront of your killzone totally unaware and throwing grenades into Crack House if they were streamsniping. With fame comes responsibility. Don't taint names on a whim. Other than that little insident I love your content, keep up the good work. 🙂

  5. With recent changes to ballistics sniping with non-standard weapons doesn't feel as rewarding anymore as pretty much every gun now barely has any bullet drop within 150m.

  6. So, as a streamer, what is the point of using your twitch name instead of a smurf? You can't really bring extra audience doing that while getting stream sniped is the most obvious (and probably frequent) downside.

  7. Thank you! Ive been sniping with the ash12 for about two weeks, I got over tier 2 mastery and lots of clean headshots. Its quite underated even with ps12 ammo instead of ps12b. Thanks for the content, ngl I cant help but laugh because it seems like I do something and a few days later a video is made on it everytime! Haha, have a good one!!

  8. I don't stream snipe and I won't but I can't say I am sad to see full time streamers get killed in an unfair way much like the timmies they blast down with a full meta kit.

  9. I've been running the ASh-12 lately on solo raids, though I usually go unsuppressed for the recoil and with just a holo sight, but I'm experimenting with some scopes. The ASh-12 has some major drawbacks, namely the recoil, 20 round mags (that are moderately expensive) and slow muzzle velocity but if you play around those, it's ridiculously rewarding. PS12B is absolutely disgusting, 700 roubles a bullet, 300 per reset, one-shots class 4 armor and lower to the thorax, and usually 2 or 3 shots class 5 and 6. It's godly. Please don't make more videos about it, it's Tarkov's best kept secret and I don't want BSG to nerf it lol

  10. Was this guy stream sniping by specifically trying to queue into your same game, or did one of his buddies who died first tell him it was you? Seemed like the latter here right? Not really sure with him being level 9.

Real stream sniping to me is when you're specifically trying to queue into the same game as a streamer and kill them. In a scenario where your buddy dies and tells you it's a streamer, while I can't say I like him stream sniping at all, I also can't really say I blame him as the opportunity just came across him, and he wasn't taking all day trying to snipe his way into your specific lobby premeditatively. Still hate it, but just a thought.

  11. Honestly, the guy was just playing the game, he can hear the running and was between the white buildings. I dont think he was sniping. Maybe he is late to the wipe. No way people look up who killed them if they dont have TTV in their name.

  12. Let me address a few of you folks who say this isn't stream sniping, or anyone in the future. Go check out the full vod if you care and not the clipped down version for a little more context. There are several minutes of clipped out 'boring' gameplay that plays a roll in our feeling that they were stream sniping.

There is a possibility I am wrong, and I even vocalized that in discussion with chat at 5:11 . There is a possibility it was random chance that he ran out of crack at the nearly same time I pushed up, and ran to the same point I was headed to, and was waiting ADS'd for me at the one point he would be able to see me 4:30. But it is very small. Also the argument they heard me is bogus. It was absolutely pouring rain. He didn't hear shit just like I didn't hear him until he was very close. My team mate didn't hear me or him move and he was between us near crack house. We knew they were in crack house because their shooting there is what caused me to push up as we knew where they were and knew they were occupied.
