  1. not worth the money!! ayiuk gets locked down by the best dbs in the league..was no where to be found in the superbowl!! if your gonna pay a receiver this kind of money he better be elite!! and he is not!! jefferson is!!

  2. DO NOT pay him that much. Has he given fours years worth of #1 receiver production? Didn't he refuse to learn playbook his rookie year (or was incapable of it)? He barely contributed his second year. I am 100% on the make him play this year and fine him every day he's not there, then franchise tag him next year if needed and just trade him whenever there is a good offer. He's not worth that much regardless of his usage as a 5 catch a game receiver.

  3. The 49ers own him at 3yrs/$70 million that’s $23.3 million AAV. I’m not budging off the $26 million if I am the 49ers. Then I am trying to get a deal done next off season when Aiyuk will most likely have worse numbers than he did this year.

  4. Do not pay. Save the money for the long-term QB contract and play with Deebo, Jennings and the 2 stud rookies. It's cool. If Aiyuk gets 30/year and Pearsall gets 3, I just don't see Aiyuk being 10x the player. 10x the stats, blocking, etc I just don't see it.

  5. Aiyuk is a top 10 receiver and the best blocking wr in the NFL. CMC doesn’t have a lot of big runs without Aiyuk blocking all the way down field. They need to keep that in mind.

  6. Aiyuk is good but can they get 80% of the production for 20% of the cost. I think the Niners would like to first see how some of these other receivers look in camp and the pre-season.

  7. I'd tell him if he wants more money than what I'm willing to pay him, he needs to relocate himself and his Family out of California to a state with a lower tax rate. He could be a 49er still and not have to pay all of those taxes on everything to live a very comfortable life.

  8. This maybe a stretch. Wasn't there a time when Brandon Aiyuk was in Kyle Shanahan's "dog house." Perhaps the holdout for more money ($30 million) is more of a pay back for those days when he was in Shanahan's "dog house". Some players oddly enough hold grudges. I beleive this well maybe the case. Supposedly his good friend Deebo Samuels has told Aiyuk that holding out for more money and missing a large portion of training camp will hurt his play, Deebo Samuels should know because this happened to him.

  9. It is not my money and I cannot say how much Aiyuk should be paid. But it is totally unfair to put undue pressure on Aiyuk, by saying, if he is signed, Deebo is gone, and if he is paid, what he's worth, Purdy's contract is in jeopardy next year That pressure belongs to the 49er administration, not Aiyuk. No one was worrying about Purdy's next year contract when McCaffrey,Jennings and all these new wide receivers were signed. I believe the plan was to not pay Brandon from the start, and that was why Kyle signed Pearsall. Sick of all the drama with Aiyuk's contract and blaming him. It is not BA's fault.😮

  10. If BA is not worth 30 million, then Brock Purdy is NOT 60 million. This is a setup for Purdy,Bosa,McCaffrey to stay 49ers and get good hefty contracts, and to make good players like Armstead and Aiyuk …walk. Sick of the letdown .😮Been a fan ALL my life, if BA not signed, watch…no Super Bowl.
