first lets go baby
This show looks terrible, bunch of D-list actors. I'm calling it right now, this will be a disaster.
I'm nervous about the Jedi being trashed on, I might need some Star Wars counseling to get me through 😊
I'm really excited for the Acolyte.
No strings attached freshness.
The footage at celebration has stuck with me and everything ive seen since looks great.
Where the Jedi misinformed or disinformed?
So many times, big corporations have misled the public when they know the actual truth.
Thanks to Ken, Joseph and Jennifer! 📰
I love the, "What are you?", moment. It's possible that no living Jedi has seen a Sith. They're literally something out of the Archives. Scary stories for padawans.
Being a Sith isn't just a visual look. Or a lightsaber color. It's an outlook. An ideology. You wouldn't know what you were seeing until you investigated. Was it an authentic Sith? A pretender? Someone inspired by the Sith trying to resurrect a new version or evolution of them?
It's easy to denigrate the Jedi for not immediately knowing or sensing what we the audience know to be true. Be we know more than the Jedi. They were figuring it out in real time.
Fun trailer discussion! Also, glad to hear there may be more Jedi Beats videos in the future! Those are so great!
I really hope this show delivers and proves people wrong. Seen a lot of negative discourse about it already 🙁
Ground dwelling ewok seems to be a mountain guide in 1:09 of the trailer. Also, 1:17…yellow lightsaber! Temple guards in action?
Classic ForceCenter: 1 hr episode on a 2 min trailer
Really hyped for this show
I like the idea that this character isn't a sith but some other dark side user (fallen jedi, etc) but their appearance puts the jedi on guard. It would make sense why the council are so sure the sith couldn't return without them knowing as if they've been actively monitoring the situation.
As quoted…how can anyone not like this trailer? I really genuinely can't understand it. Not meant to be snarky or anything. I literally just struggle to see it lol
I'm very excited about this show. This is looking like Star Wars Watchmen
Amazing conversation as usual.
best show on youtube
As much as I loved the trailer, I want to talk about how Lucasfilm needs to appeal to casuals. After the "special sneak peek" at "TPM", I asked my partner if she would want to watch "The Acolyte", since she liked what she saw. She said: "I don't think I can. I haven't seen the other shows." I told her it takes place 100 years before the movie we just watched, and she very excitedly said "It does?! Ok. Yeah. I'm in." I really think they need to put that front and center in the marketing. This could be such a great jumping on point for so many people, but I haven't really seen that in the marketing. I'm so excited to be able to share this one with my partner.
