Howdy friends!
In this video we take a walk through the scenic Green Mountains of Vermont to discover the ruins of the abandoned town of Greenbank’s Hollow. In the mid 1800’s, the now ruined town of Greenbank’s Hollow was a small metropolis in an otherwise untamed wilderness. The main industry of the community was the 5 story wool mill building that once stood over Joe’s Brook. The town helped produce woolen uniforms for the American Civil War and was one of the largest wool mills in the country in its heyday. All of this would change when the mill burned to the ground abruptly on a cold December night, effectively leaving the town without its lifeblood. Slowly the town was abandoned and reclaimed by the wilderness. Today we will walk through these abandoned root cellars and meandering walls to tell the story of this once thriving community that now sits abandoned and lost in the forest.

Hi MMM! Love this video and most everything about it. When you’re next to the running water, the ambient sound is too much for me to understand what you’re saying even though your diction is great. (Auditory processing problems). Would you please keep such things in mind for future videos? Some way to turn down the background noise of running water if you’re in a similar situs

Please, please do a video on the new Netflix show Ancient Apocalypse. I had to stop myself explaining how the whole I idea of ancient Atlantian was stemmed deeply in racism to everyone on twitter. My poor boyfriend just couldn't wrap his head around why I was getting so angry at the whole entire show

Greenbank Hollow, Danville, VT is almost in Canada. I will definitely check it out when I resume my trips to Quebec City and Montreal. Oh, how I miss the Quebecois Ancient French dialects.

Btw if those boots are leather, they shouldn't be absorbing water like that! You need to grease them up or they'll crack. Also makes them water resistant! You should do it regularly and they will last you 10 years. If they're suede then nevermind lol.
