  1. They’ll never be the lost legions. The entire reason they exist is to reference the 2 missing Roman legions.

    More likely the legion of the damned is the setting’s version of the Wild Hunt; ancient venerated warriors on a permanent hunt for honor and victory.

    Now, I’m not a chaos fan, but the Warp Ghosts are the most badass. Time traveling ghosts of Astartes with a fleet of ancient, ancient warships? Awesome.
