Was the transmission in sport? Does the transmission have a sport setting?
Your review is good, but lacking in some areas…. Too much compariosn to BMWs which evidently You are partial to. Yoj don't emphasize the fact too get this general level of SUV (X5, for instance) one would spend $15 -20 K more ! Does the CX-70 have a remote start? Does the RS function engage the heated steering wheel at cold temps, turn on the rear window and side view mirrors heaters , and start the Climate controls? Do the Heated / Venttilated seats have an Auto Button? or must I enegage that manually? Is there an auto Entry / Exit tied to the memory seats/ steering wheel / Miirrors position (like my MDX)? You mention that the Bose sound system is just OK!. My crtique of the review also says that You speak way too quickly, The narrative is just flying out in superspeed mode, and too much of a comparison to BMWs, when you should also include the Acura MDX – which is the main competitor to this Vehicle, together with the Kia and Hyundai.

You are wrong about touch screen, big reason I buy Mazda is the control knob and interphace instead of just plain old touch screen that is going cheap.

I don't know why every reviewer gets the back of the CX70 wrong by suggesting they carry the CX90 cupholders over to the CX70. They are NOT the same. What one might do with them, I don't know, but the same, they are not.
bro…The X3M40i is literally only $6,000 more than this and blows this away in suspension and engine. X3 can do 0-60 in 4.6 seconds, without launch control. A low mileage 2018 X3M40i that costs $30,000 handles and surpasses it in speed. This ain't no BMW, please don't compare it to an X3 M40i which is clearly what Mazda was aiming for.
an Audi, or BMW x3 2.0 with a 4 cylinder engine can do 0-60 in 6.1!

I will say the wheel for the infotainment system isn’t annoying. I’ve owned a cx-50 for about 6 months now and I’ve gotten so use to it I prefer using it over a touch screen. I catch myself trying to reach for it whenever driving a different car lol.
10:04 you’re still implying in your videos that Mazda isn’t necessarily a luxury offering.. and while they may not self-identify as a “lux” brand, they have modestly established their portfolio and image as a premium sports brand for decades now. That’s what Mazda prefers to be labeled as if they even have to be labeled.. they deserve that recognition because that’s what they are and don’t boast about themselves. They appeal to a very specific market and know what their audience wants.. they’re not in the game to be an “alternative” or a “Japanese BMW.” Mazda is Mazda.

I was really disappointed when this came out, I thought the CX70 was gonna be smaller than the CX90, considering the name, but unfortunately is the exact same thing as the 90. that was my condition to go for it.
