The first-ever #MazdaCX70 has arrived and think of this car as the edgier and sportier 2-row version of the flagship #CX90. The #CX70 will also launch as the #CX70PHEV and it will offer up to 26 miles of EV only range and nearly as much power as the #CX70TurboS.

Combined 25 mpg is no good for a hybrid. My 22 pathfinder V6 gets that.
I'm surprised that the cargo area is the same as a CRV ? Is that right?

Wow only 26 miles of EV range? That’s pathetic. They should have shot for at least double that as a minimum.
Oh and it’s just a CX-90 with no third row. Why call it a whole new model? The front looks good but the side is too long and the rear is atrocious. Wish they could stamp that front end in something a little smaller with about 60 miles of EV range.

Always a big Mazda fanboy, but nowadays I'm always torn between Mazda and Hyundai/Kia when I upgrade my family hauler.
Had they priced it 40k to 50k between the cx50 and cx90, i would had overlooked the fact its a cx90 minus one row.

I love it. You get the functionality of the size of the CX-90 without the useless third row. Plenty of space

Wish the back seat was 40/20/40 split. I have found that extraordinarily useful for transporting materials while still allowing access to 2 seats in the back.
Actually, I see folks cross-shopping those models. The Mazda offers a much lower price for many of the same features. the difference is the length. That could be an issue.
what are the vents immediately behind the rear seats? Are the third row vents still present as the cupholders are? anyone knows? i would actually appreciate an answer as i have two dogs i can put in the trunk.
