  1. I super hate the waistline in the early 1800’s 😩 I’m sorry I just can’t with the lack of a waist. They look too much like a night gown to sleep in. Thank goodness for the 1840’s bringing down the waistline to the actual waist.

  2. Earlier, 1800 seemed more practical; not so layered with tight corsets and bodice, heavy, and voluminous bottom….(Image the inconvenience of going to potty? lol.) except for brutal winter season, of course
