'That's What Friends Are For': Jaishankar's Sweet Reply After Bulgaria Thanks India For Ship Rescue

India and Bulgaria’s sweet exchange after the rescue of hijacked ship MV Ruen goes viral. Bulgaria’s Deputy Prime Minister thanked India for rescuing the vessel with seven Bulgarians onboard. India’s External Affairs Minister, S. Jaishankar, gave a sweet reply to Bulgaria’s deputy PM’s post. “That’s what friends are for,” Jaishankar wrote while replying to Mariya Gabriel’s thank-you note. The Indian Navy rescued MV Ruen, which was hijacked by Somali pirates on December 14 last year, after a 40-hour high-tempo operation.

  3. It is time Somalia reigned in their Pirates hijacking sea ferrying ships, more especially while a war that's going on between two other nations, unless the Somalian authorities themselves are turning a blind eye to the high seas hijackings their nationals are involved in as means of self enrichment.

  4. This dude has the biased opinion to criticize the brits for doing business in his place… For the past 300yrs…
The east Indian company… Was a partnership between the brits and wealthy Indian rulers that controlled vast states of India…

And India benefited from such partnership.

BUT his racist mind… See it otherwise 😎….

Worry more about the Persians… Dude.. 😎😎😎

  5. How many of these Somalian pirates were actually fishermen in the past?
What drove them to target these merchant ships?

For Gods sake, these are the people from the poorest of the poor nations in this world.
Indian navy should not publicize this event beyond a certain limit because the CORE of this Somalian piracy problem is elsewhere.
