Concerning the McDonald's anime sauce, anime set in a contemporary setting are quite brazen with representing real-world brands in a legally distinct way. Often, such will portray a McDonald's restaurant with a 'W' instead of an 'M'. Hence, WcDonald's pops up in a lot of anime shows.
