Borderlands 2 is a 2012 first-person shooter video game developed by Gearbox Software and published by 2K. Taking place five years following the events of Borderlands (2009), the game is again set on the planet of Pandora. The story follows a new group of Vault Hunters who must ally with the Crimson Raiders, a resistance group made up of civilian survivors and guerrilla fighters, to defeat the tyrannical Handsome Jack before he can unlock the power of a new Vault. Borderlands 2 was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in September 2012, and it was ported to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as part of The Handsome Collection in March 2015.
The game received universal acclaim upon release. Critics generally praised the game’s visuals, writing, gameplay, and online multiplayer, as well as its variety of guns, while criticising its mission design and content fillers. The handheld and the virtual reality versions of the game were regarded to be inferior to the console and PC versions. More than 20 million units were shipped upon release and the game became 2K’s most successful release. It was nominated for multiple year-end accolades by several gaming publications. Gearbox supported the game with four add-on campaigns, new characters and five content packs. The game was followed by Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel in October 2014, and Borderlands 3 in September 2019. According to leaks in August 2023 Gearbox Software has officially begun development of Borderlands 4 on the Unreal Engine 4.

Good video <3 A little back story to what happened. I woke one day to a ton of people on twitter stating members of the BL community were subtweeting about me, mainly K6. I had a look and he was basically saying I was scummy for using arrows in my thunbnails. He sent his sheep after me to do his dirty work, Epiccnng included. Epic made that video before I responded to anything. When I did eventually react, I really wasnt bothered as I knew it was K6 just jelly as my Borderlands videos where doing literally 5x better than his. He was upset that I came from Destiny and was pissing up his fence.
I then went ahead and started responding on twitter to thier BS, being chill & schooling them, as you can imagine more n more of his sheep came out the woodwork & were siding with him no matter what. That was until I got my followers involved. K6 quickly tried to spin it on its head. He was then straight in my Discord DMs trying to backtrack.
When I made a video in response to Epics video, K6 was literally the first to comment on that video further back tracking to his previous remarks about me on twitter.
Epic is literally the biggest tit in the BL community, the typical fool behind the screen thinking he can say what he wants with no response. After I schooled him on twitter & made a video response to his video, he ended up blocking me. The mod of the stream team tried to resolve the issue between us & I told him, if we ever meet in RL I'll snap his hunch back. From that moment I was told it was best if I left the team which I did & have never looked back. I wouldnt say I was bullied out of the BL community, but to stop posting BL videos was the easiest thing I ever did.

I remember people like EpicNNG, Ccrypto, and others hating DPJ back in the day. They always said he was a bad person, but could never really give a good reason when asked. I actually didn’t know K6 was involved with it too. I really liked DPJ’s Borderlands videos.

Hey MAK, I don’t really know when your channel started but I was around when you were doing the forever alone build; so a long as time ago. I was unaware of all the issues in the BL community and thought you just stopped doing YouTube and switched completely over to twitch. It seemed like your channel was all about smoking herb and shoes, which is ok but not my thing so I didn’t watch and sought out other BL content creators. I say all that to say, I watched a lot of K6 and Joltz content. K6 was a little goofy for my tastes but it was whatever. But damn, these receipts you are coming with are very difficult to look past. I don’t think I will be viewing K6 content anymore. Even if some of what you were saying is hyperbole, it seems grounded in reality and that family friendly laminate peeling off.

I remember back in the ol bl2 days when you had like 20 big ish content creators all doing their own things and there was enough subscribers and viewers that people didn't feel the need to horde all of em. I think that's still the case but obviously some creators don't seem to think so.

At this stage their really is no big interest online for content creators with borderlands. Borderlands 4 most likely will drop in 2025 and if the game has replay ability their will be plenty of new and older YouTubers doing well off their videos. If it bombs well then it just slowly dies out and no one will watch any content creators to any large degree with regards to borderlands imo. Here's where I'd say it's most egregious….. Borderlands 3 and Wonderlands….. are crap. Mainly due to GBX not learning from mistakes… over and over and over again. But all the folks named in this video… swear that it's the consumers that don't understand the game or are too lazy to do the most repetitive and meaningless content.
So yes, I would likely say they are shameless shills, or worse yet, clinging to a dead pet hoping there is some life in it.
