The Thai Gift & Foreigner Joe YouTube channel is seen by people from all around the world, which include Thai citizens, Thai/foreign couples and foreigners alike. We post videos of our journey while living in Thailand for the pleasure of our audience only. Our content is not meant to encourage/discourage or influence anyone to travel, live, work, marry, retire, rent, buy, build or own a home, land or business in Thailand. Our content covers a wide variety of topics including travel, food, real life stories, informational videos, homes, condos and land for sale or rent and much more. That being said, let’s discuss “Foreigners cannot own land in Thailand”. While this statement is true to a certain extent, there are many foreigners who own homes in Thailand with their Thai spouse and/or Thai partner. There are also many Thai citizens who watch the Thai Girl Gift & Foreigner Joe Channel who are interested in home/land rentals and sales. Our video title never says “House, Land ,Condo or business for sale for “Foreigners”… While there are ways for a foreigner to secure land and/or a business, before attempting to do so, it is highly encouraged and recommended to seek legal advice on the ways for foreigners to legally secure a home, land and/or open a business in Thailand. Also, ensure that you and your legal representative/ lawyer, throughly go over, fully understand and are in agreement with the terms and conditions as outlined in all contracts, prior to signing any legally binding contract.

  2. thanks for the video. Sometimes everyone thinks they are a critic or an expert on things they dont know about. Like you said you are just showing them it is up to us to make that decision as to purchase or not to purchase. Thanks again Gift & Joe.

  3. This is called a home stay type setup where you rent a room and share the kitchen. Very popular in Vietnam. I don’t see many with the Homestay concept in Thailand. Great location. Will not be very quiet with a Restutant/ bar down stairs and music from the night market. However, get spot if you want to be in the mix and meet new people that room next to you. Very open concept.

  9. Got to say for the $412 a month rental place I could stay there with the shared kitchen I think you said, very nice place in PKK. And your beach house in Rocky Point will sell Gift and Joe, it shouldn't be a problem because it is beautiful. Thanks for the news update on the rental property. Keep them coming. Stay safe.

  10. Excellent. Thanks for this information TGG&FJ. I would love more of these types of videos with details on available rentals in PKK town, both near the water and more inland. Prachuap is a lovely place to be and I suspect will continue to grow in popularity, but western style rentals seemed in short supply when I was looking six months ago. Again, thanks for the great look and would love to see more! Cheers.

  11. These people are clowns. Most of them complaining about $129k for the Rocky Point location are probably Westerners who'd have to pay 20x minimum for a similar beachfront property back home. They are cheap and only value the price of things instead of focusing on what they are actually getting. In California, you'd be paying 40x minimum for a beach property like that while getting screwed sideways with exuberant property taxes.

  12. By the way, the for sale sign notes that the 66 square meter townhouse comes with the furniture too, for what that is worth. Great location in the historical section of Sue Suk Road. It could be a downstairs business/retail space and upstairs living space for the right people. Expect construction across the street in the near future, however, as PKK town continues to grow. Regards.

  13. Hi Joe and Gift
Good video , I think this guy might struggle getting full rental on his rooms especially with the shared kitchen and sitting room , but the views are amazing from there and that’s a selling point in itself,
My views on buying/building which I did build here , is don’t buy or build something you can’t afford to walk away from ,

  14. WOW 😳 is that all you are asking for rocky point if that was in the UK with sea view you wouldn't get much change out of £500,000 -600,000 or even more depending on the area and they are saying they wouldn't pay for it.

  15. Good evening Joe and Gift! Great tips for renting and buying real estate. Negative thoughts and people will always exist. Just ignore them! I'm sure you'll find a good buyer for your beach cottage. Very good your video and a beautiful view place. Good to see you guys again! Stay healthy and safe! 🙏

  16. Just took a walk from town where the bay is very nice down to the end of the bay where you are. I have to say it looked nice on your videos, but they don't capture the full beauty of that small area. The bay, the boats and the imposing cliff all make it a beautiful place to be.
