  1. No way the US would let Thailand have the F35s, with top secret information onboard. How many minutes does it take for a Thai pilot to fly from Thailand to land in China? I'm sure most right minded people would know that China would pay big money to get that plane..

  2. Secrecy is not the biggest concern with the F35s. I think the US made the offer first to initiate a Status of Forces Agreement with Thailand. A similar "request" was made in the late 90s for F-18 fighters. My opinion is Thailand will be better off without the aircraft and a SOFA agreement.

  3. Awesome news report! I do miss Saraโ€™s โ€œHiโ€ news report opening greeting however. Itโ€™s a matter of opinion of a very formal/professional opening (today) vs. when she says โ€œHiโ€ which adds a less formal yet personal connection with viewers. Great episode!

  4. F-35? Thailand has been moving much closer to China and Russia so itโ€™s hard to imagine Thailand would be trusted with advanced technologyโ€ฆ theyโ€™re both 50 years behind and considering their bad behavior of late no one wants to see them catch up. That saidโ€ฆ they are both self destructing and so once that plays out Thailand having F-35โ€™s would help stabilize the region.
