  1. 👀 This may come off as insensitive, but someone HAS to say it: some of these drivers are dumbasses for not staying hydrated with WATER–not soda–in the hot @$$ Texas,
    Arizona, & Florida heat.

This is NOT UPS, FedEx, or USPS's fault when these knuckleheads don't resort to BASIC self-care 🙄

  2. "We are aware of an incident involving our driver in McKinney, TX. We care deeply about his safety and well-being." No, you don't. If you did you'd re-tool every last truck to have a functioning A/C with seals on the doors of the cabin. But no, that's too expensive. Instead, you give them a dinky little desk fan mounted on the dash thinking that's enough to survive in >100 degree heat for several hours every day during summer. How many more instances of heat stroke are going to have to happen before we get a class action lawsuit started? TOO MANY.

  3. I just bought a new car after driving an older one for over 2 years… the older one wasn’t worth repairing and one issue it had was the a/c… I worked in hot summers but this is also Michigan… and I was still feelin the heat… UPS should feel like trash for the lack of a/c in those trucks… those doors are always wide open because they are trying to give themselves any breeze possible. Sad for the driver who has to deal with this kinda treatment from a multi-million dollar company

  4. Ups needs to switch to white trucks. But also usps, fedex, ups box trucks dont have good ac. They need to have a closed cab with a slider door too the back and be able to keep the front cold. I have heard so many stories about these box trucks with no heat or ac.

  5. Crazy. I hate this. As a mail carrier, these delivery companies really don’t care about us. We had a carrier pass out and die in someone’s yard in Texas last year due to extreme heat, and all they cared about is “next man up.” Yet we call these things out and higher management ignores it, but they say safety is their number one goal 🙄. Praying for the guy. A lot of times, each of us from each different company have to look out for one another.

  6. Suing does nothing to these giant corporations. They will gladly pay since it's pennies for them. Former Google CEO just told a bunch of Stanford students to use AI to make an app that will copy TikTok. And if the clone becomes successful, lawsuits don't matter as you can just pay it off and barely make a dent in your company.

  7. Much much much worse is just around the corner and you soon understand why humanity spent a very long time living underground (removed from “history” for obvious reasons) so good luck with that ✌️

  8. Most people don't understand that the back of those step vans get 160°F and the cabin isn't insulated so the only way an A/C works well is being blasted at you. The Amazon step vans just started getting a head A/C unit installed which works very well so UPS has NO reason to not give these guys the same thing

  9. Has an ex Amazon driver no AC is insane I bring something to mesure the temperature at work one day mad in the bac we got all the way up to 90c (194f) in the back or truck is equipped with AC but we are almost not allowed to use it, because we have EOC (engine of compliance) that must be followed at 100%. so every time we do a delivery, we are not allowed to leave the engine on so every time I come back to the truck when I start the engine if I put the AC the only thing that get out of the vent is hot hair that doesn’t have time to cool down before the next delivery

  10. Anyone talking in the comments talking about how horrible it is, it's your fault. Consumerism in a nutshell, many of the workers who deliver, make, pack, ship, your cheap junk deal with the same horrible working conditions.
