Chasing the supercell that leads to multiple tornadoes near Sulphur Springs, TX during a HUGE Outbreak day across the Lone Star State! We capture close-range footage through the trees east of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metro.
I’m at atmospheric science major and a few of my buddies and I went chasing on this storm and ended up around 200 yards from it on accident… managed to speed out of there before it hit but it was a close call for our first chase.. great footage!

Hell of a video maybe one of these days I will get to see a tornado don't get many up here in North East Ohio now Waterspouts on the other hand I've seen alot of them on Lake Erie in the fall months mostly fair weather waterspouts though I have seen a couple tornadic waterspouts as well
I chased for 20 yrs and east Texas in the jungle was always the scariest. Just like canton. Take a tornado like in the outbreak moving at 60 mph in a wooded area. In can be on top of you before you have time to react.
Awesome footage guys!
I hope they are okay
Good job guys…
Watching this wind up and drop was phenomenal!!
Thanyou
Nailed it
Oh, when yall said "close range", you for sure meant it. I'd say that was WAY too close. Great footage though!

Man everything was moving so fast. One would drop and before you know it it was in the next town over. The lightening was intense but we rode it out
That thing got away from ya fast. Some good close footage though
Twister sound track in the background 😢
Yup
Is there a map of the track of this storm and where all it touched down? It was headed right for my house and missed by about a mile and a half.
an intelligent person would pull over and film
Those east Texas tree bowl chases can be so frustrating
