  1. Listened to UofH Coach say at his Monday press conference he was going to spend all day on their Off and Def game plan. I do believe Coach McGuire and his staff are going to have an advantage in year 1 in that opposing Coaches have to try to patch together Ŧ’s Off and Def.

  2. Donovan is really good if not better in my opinion. Shough is great too but once a QB start having collarbone issues they are pretty much done. Remember Alan Bowman? He was amazing until collarbone injuries took him out.

  3. Many internal questions I have will be answered this Saturday against Houston.

Sucks for Shough with injuries but I think we're in good shape with Donovan.

I think we have two elite level coordinators and this team is going to shock some talking heads out there. Once the cool kids at ESPN take notice they'll overuse the phrases, system and possibly Air Raid just because they're lazy and don't watch this team play and don't understand that Kittley's offense is simple…. attack in the direction of the end zone…. that's not a system…. it's just smart football. ESPN loves labels so prepare yourselves Raiders.

  4. Opponents holding linebackers in the box in case Donovan runs just opens up passing opportunities. He did a great job making reads and getting the ball to the best open option. He did that and he can beat you with his arm first and feet if he has to. Donovan has the tools necessary to bring the Heisman trophy to Lubbock. If not this season but next.
