Lot of people upset about what Joey McGuire said at Big 12 Media Days when talking about his DE/EDGE room being better this year than last, the QB duo of Shough and Morton being the best in the conference and saying Tech’s main goal is to win the Big 12
– The DE/EDGE room is 100% better from a depth perspective even after losing Tyree Wilson
– The QB no doubt has an argument as the best in the Big 12, Shough and Morton have both won games in the Big 12
– I mean what do you expect him to say? This team finished 4-0 including the bowl game with Tyler Shough at QB and 18 starters from the bowl game return… of course a Big 12 title should be the goal of the men in that locker room
Alright I’m done with my tangent Lyle

"Joey McGuire is marketing genius" – Lyle
Who is the best QB in the Big 12 going into the 2023 season?
Tyler Shough is the __ best QB in the Big 12?
RC/Lyle, hearing some buzz in my world that Ah-Dee-Dah may offer Tech more $ than what they are giving A&M. They want to further boost the Pat brand and adding Tech helps. If that is the case, I can deal with it. I still won't wear their shiiit though. 😂 I'm a UA and Puma (Lulu on occasion) loyalist.
A big season this Fall will further boost our value. This season is so damn important on many levels. No pressure…..right?
Lyle, how's your team looking for "23?
The problem with Kansas is they have the old Texas tech defense. Who can they stop?
I smell it down here in Austin BABY!!!!!
Lyle is 100% right. I've always thought it was weird that Tech didn't try to build/display their relationship with Crabtree when he was in the NFL and now that he is retired.
I got Wyoming on the moneyline. 👍
Good job Llye…quick question…is it easier to get to Lubbock or Manhattan,KS, Stillwater, OK,Oxford MS
Happy Valley, PA and Morgantown,WV ? Lubbock is a much larger, more cosmopolitan city with vastly superior flight service and a ten minute drive to the airport from campus all of the above plus Waco and College Station are 1 1/2 hour drive from campus
Driving time is much less relevant especially in national recruiting…thank God Coach McGuire , Coach McCasland and their staffs don’t subscribe to your tired , tedious “tough to recruit to Lubbock “
negative recruiting cliches..:you’re starting to get it
Now stop parroting untrue dated stereotypes
Get on board and start marketing like Joey
If I were Sark, I would camp out on 6th Street at night and keep his players out of the bars. That's the only way he'll ever get these prima donnas to win imo.
Tech at 3. I like it LL! That's in the margin of error for an upset #1!
1. Shough
2. Howard
3. Gabriel
4. Daniels
5. Ewers
6. Morris
“Just No” is right, RC! OKiE Lite is trash, and so is the clown that picked them number 1
