This is not a serious take on naval history, but more a shitpost thereof. Please take everything I say with a grain of salt.
Iām sorry, Elmo Zumwalt.
The game is Ultimate Admiral Dreadnoughts: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1069660/Ultimate_Admiral_Dreadnoughts/
In Ultimate Admiral: Dreadnoughts you play as the head of a navy doing what the head of navies do best ā spend entirely too much money on holes in the water, or, in laymans terms, ships. You can design very stupid things. I do this.

WIDER TOM
highlight video of the week incoming! š
Thank you Tex for explaining how subs work in this game.
Also, thank you to everyone involved in making this series.
Personally, I enjoy it when the editor cranks up the music during battle to give it a more dramatic feeling.
Now for the campaign:
I can only guess that the Brits have such well trained gunners after being forced into so many "target rich" battles throughout the world. XD
"Let's mock the French"
Names ship "La Seren Du Mon Kai."
ALL HAIL THE DIESEL MICRO-NELSON!
Those plus the Widetom/Iowas are gonna be fun.
One of the things I find helpful economically, is to make out what I call my merchant marine slider. Tech, and training are important, but getting your merchant marine maxed out as quickly as possible grows your economy at a pretty quick pace.
I hope you will name one of your ships "suck my sausage" but in German š
Battletech/Mechwarrior Lore – Tex Talks Battletech : the Centurion pleas
Oddly I've had my most success by having afew high end battleships and a crap load of armed to the teeth cruisers. In my experience destroyers die to easy and battleships although necessary tonnage to take a port in a battle they're just there as fire support because getting into the thick of things is a sure fire way to lose the things because they are torpedo magnets.
TEX: Time to refit the habsburg…….yup, gas turbine annnnd how many cwis can i fit, 4 no, ok 3! Now for the harpoons, how many can i fit? allllll of them, GREAT! Can i fit 8in guns? game says no, maybe…….6in ok. Now for the armor i can fit?…… PERFECT!
I wish that for little to no cost, you could like, Start a ship and pause it, just so you could have eternal hapsburg, ship burns down? Unpause a New one, refit, mascot restored.
For austro-hung-ralia!!!!!
Tex, you should do a series where you ask the community to make as many ships as possible in different eras and then you turn on "player designed ships" for the AI and just watch the chaos of what the community + the AI will come up with
The Hapsburgs appear to be trying to build the Mongolian Empire in reverse. Let's see how that works out for them, Cotton
Max shipyard size isn't actually tied to your shipbuilding capacity. It only increases the size of the boats you can build, so there's no reason to increase it beyond super battleship size.
Dockyard capacity is tied to growth, and can't be increased manually. Sorry for backseating Tex, but i only stumbled over this while fucking with the game files and i'm not sure if it's common knowledge. Anyways, love the series, it's ridiculous and amazing. Long live the Hapsburg!
Get some Goat! Marine Air Wing sees you brother! Tex is family but I gotta go with house Calderon. My general disposition and culture. Battletech for life!
You leave my favorite round alone Tex! Eargesplitten Loudenboomer is amazing.
Schiessenschiff, not to be confused with scheissenachiff.
"complex era filled with alot of assholes" isn't that just all history in a nutshell?
Poor Hapsburg, it's the ship equivalent of a 70 yo soldier who wants to retire, but the enlistment office keeps saying just one more year in perpetuity
If you've noticed your accuracy has dropped, and a ridiculous amount of your shells are bouncing off and doing 0 damage, it's because they borked combat in one of the recent updates.
