Oh I didn't notice that the lag would happen when it was abyssal fish. Whenever I used my rotd enchanted with abyssal, it would lag everyone around me too until i caught the fish. This whole time I thought it was because my device was getting old 😂
I guess it wasnt just me who keeps getting my fps so low when catching a fish with abyssal mutation

i bought the rod and did 3 runs with it and i was very unlucky only getting about 2 or 3 Heavenly fish per run (and not even on the mythics) which made me about 70-80k per run , my luck with rotd was just better making about 100k per night 💀
the fps drops are so bad with abyssal that i almost lost my streak tryna catch a mythical
its not impossible but definitely an inconvenience. i feel for the low end device users….
honestly, i use clever rotd to lvl up, because you get xp from the fish ur ghost gives.
clever doesnt effect the ghost, but the 2x xp gamepass does.
i farm at forsaken pond, because if i catch a goldfish, then my ghost gives me one aswell, thats 20k xp in one catch.

5:25 yes i've experienced this too, its really annoying too if you're trying to catch a big fish like a collosal or a mosaurus.

Why does the heavenly mutation not show up on the fish until it's in your inventory? It's not really a big deal just a bit strange as it's the only one that works like that.

I wish the rod progression was better than it is, I got heaven's rod when I was around 90-100 and don't need to upgrade it since the others take forever to get that can even compare to it. Like getting to 2 million is easy to do, getting to level 500 is not even with my 2x xp game pass and clever rod of the depths it is taking forever.

The best spot to not loose oxygen is actually across from where you are. There is another platform directly opposite from you that is lowered, standing there you can breathe for about 30mins-45mins (at least 4 days) in my experience. You can see it in this frame 4:17
farming for heaven's rod, overall and versatile for no life rod (it's cosmically better when catching something like -90% progress speed)
According to the fandom, no-life is better because of the combination of hexed mutation and abyssal mutation. So now you know which is better(if you want exp use no-life and not RotD)
honestly i only get like 50k with hevans and 0k with depths and i have both of them enchanted with hasty and abyssal i dk why
did they nerf canals? because i have been catching wayy less mythicals and legendaries than before
i think abyssal causes lag because as far as i know, the more polygons/sides a model has, the more of that blue effect (not the glowing blue material, the effect), because that effect spawns on sides/polygons, they could easily fix this by spawning that effect once at the centre of the model. also the only reason its less laggy on crates is because they have less sides i think? this is all just a theory and could well be completely incorrect, so dont take this as the absolute truth

No life rod needs the resilience from seaweed to get perfect catches. Only important for XP grinding.
