  1. Get cheap chicken wire enough for couple acres to close off the chicken coupe and put 2 guard dogs in there you will never have any predators make shore your goats are in same closure no problem with predators. You can always move fences as you need.

  2. I would suggest something that's uh, solar powered uh, camera that you can see from your phone all the time and if you get the right one it could alert you to an issue and then you could deal with it immediately. Uh, something like a Ethernet based, you know, goes back to a receiver that you could even. Pull up on your TV or computer monitor.

  3. This is more work for you, but I would suggest that you get what they call hardware cloth and cover the tops of it and then attach some of that rubber black tubing that they sell to wrap around pipes with (that insulates them from the cold), if you cover the seams with that and any other metal surfaces that the tarp will come in contact with, it won't easily rip. And while you have you hardware cloth out, make about a 2 foot border around the coop at it's base. That way it'll lesson the chance of critters digging under it. Good luck.

  4. if You do not have to chip all the brush, You can use it to build natural fences, where they may be useful. If You pile them up 4 to 5 feet high like a fence, plants and animals will live inside the fence.

  6. Think about using 1" straps maybe 12 inches apart from sides over gable under the tarp to minimize tarp belly under snow load. Nice tractor but it should have had rafters to minimize tarp bellying. Straps will work and it won't add much weight.

  8. 1) electric fence 2) chicken wire under the tarp on the chicken coop 3) AR-15s for each family member plus a 12ga and a .270 or higher caliber bolt action for predator control if necessary. 45.70 lever action is fun too if you want, they blow coyotes away quite a lot lol.

  9. I am a hunter in Texas. I have found that for myself (Wildgame) cams are the best bang for the buck. I use 4 or 5 different wildgame models. I have used (stealth cam) cams also. I didn't like those. We would sometimes have 10k pics on them if the wind blew all day a couple days.

  10. Continued healing prayers for Gina. And congrats on getting some chickens moved. FYI, if you guys were trying to establish a meandering country lane into the OGP, you did a beautiful job – ohh, those colors!! Well done, as always.

  11. Tactacam reveals are pretty amazing if you're looking for a decent priced cell type camera(sends pictures to app on your phone so you don't have to check SD card).

If youre looking for standalone normal types browning makes solid/simple units in the 150-200 range.. each one has a few different options so it's up to you on what you want it to do

  12. Al, I really like my two GardePro A3S Trail Cameras. Very sensitive to movement and great resolution. Unfortunately, there has been a 44% increase from the time I bought mine in September 2020. The price per camera has increased from $65.99 to $94.99.
