  1. It's really nice that Elon sees his version of the future. What about all of us that DON'T WANT TO SUMMON A ROBO-WHATEVER, WE WANT OUR OWN PERSONAL VEHICLES. And there are a lot of us that feel this way for valid reasons. We want to keep our things in them for US. We don't want to wait for them to show up (especially when we don't live in urban environment). We need to park and position them precisely and manually for what we are doing/our use case.

  2. Having an Optimus in your house is gonna be creepy. The internal Tesla team will have a view of inside your home from the Optimus cameras. As they are currently hiring people to remote operate cyber cabs and Optimus robots for when they get into difficulty. Definitely a privacy issue here. It’s like people having Alexa’s in their homes. The Amazon engineering team can listen in and hear what you are saying. They can use this to improve the Alexa’s response to people’s speech, accents, tone etc.

  3. I'm betting that "tela-operator" is in response to UN's "flagman law" (from the early days of cars where a flagman walked in front of a car to let horses & humans know to get out of the way). The short term solution to the autonomous driving, giving the operator more than a car's length of distance from the car.. The presumption being that it is still under human control only farther away. Presenting such a technology to the UN saying see, we have this in America and it works. So Europe can relax now.

  4. I honestly think Elon Musk's XAI312x is the safest bet for long term hold, and will survive out of every other altcoins. It will get adopted in US, Ecuador, Asia, starting from Japan, and slowly spread out and gain. This is a winning coin, apart from all the technical greatness.

  5. 6:15 I'd need Optimus to be a lot less than 30K USD for it to be an automatic buy, plus I'd like to have some assurance it would NOT be stepping on and kicking the cats. Long term, I see optimus as my at home caregiver as I fade into dotage, and of course 30K USD would be a bargain if it largely obviated the need for a human caregiver, but right now it would be mostly because it has been a lifelong dream to have a robot buddy, ever since first reading Asimov's "I, Robot" around 60 years ago.

  6. What will be the most difficult group to convert to full self-driving? Probably families with children. This would be yet another time Elon's vision of the future might be too far out to be effective. Why is it that incremental step, test and improve, and great for SpaceX, but with Tesla he seems to want to jump to the end and leave the consumers behind?
