I worked at Tesla starting in July of 2017 as an Operations Analyst out of the Bethlehem, PA distribution center facility and left as a Program Manager based out of Austin, TX as of September 2021. I spent most of my time in the distribution and supply chain organizations.
Before Tesla, I was a Director of Business Intelligence and Pricing at the largest Pet Food & Supply distributor in the US, Phillips Pet Food & Supplies based out of Easton, PA. My wife and I also owned a small business in Bethlehem, PA between 2016 and 2019.
I have been a shareholder of Tesla since 2012 and currently own Tesla stock.
My thoughts are my own and are not representative of everyone who currently works, or has worked at Tesla.

Russia wants the oil and gas off the coast of Crimea, the best way to stop the killing is to end the Combustion economy.
Levant Bakery and Restaurant looks good here in Los Angeles. I wonder if the two are related. But the Mediterranean food is always yummy. FSD getting better and better. Roll out those Robotaxis!
Cindy is saying that while robotaxi is predictive, other drivers of lesser capability EV’s and ICE vehicles are not.
This drive is so far removed from driving in an area like Boston, there is hardly any comparison. Huge amounts of traffic, crappy weather, narrow poorly-marked roads, Y intersections, winding suburban roads with sharp bends, etc. My experience is still no drive lasts more than 5 minutes without an intervention or pissing off/confusing drivers behind/around me.
Awesome video 👍
I really hate to say this, but I’m trying to force myself to watch this. You drove a full 10 minutes of having the car do absolutely nothing challenging. Dead straight on a highway with light traffic. It was as if you were driving with enhanced auto pilot and not needing FSD! Come on guys, this software isn’t going to advance if you keep making weak videos like this. I hope the next 10 minutes proves me wrong.
4:15 Worry not, we know you can not cook!
I've been watching Dirty Tesla's channel for a long time. He never lets the car drive hands-free like you (and other content providers). I can't tell how far the tech has progressed if he's constantly gripping the yolk. I guess I'm switching to your driving reviews from now on.
By the way, I like Producer Wife's "ByeEE." Very cute.
Re: Law to Stop for Non-Functioning Stop Lights? PCH (CA1) nb before 2nd street (2 mi before Long Beach State U) has a mall stoplight that’s been waiting to be “lit” since 2022 that FSD (11.3.6) keeps slowing for, creating a hazard. Worse, PCH sb at the south State Beach merge exit, I let it slow, in absence of traffic, & it actually stopped & wouldn’t proceed! After parking at Dog Beach (1/3 mi up), set FSD to “Go Home” & it wanted to go 55mph while still in the parking lot (similar to how it takes the adjacent road limit to race through my condo development alleys). So, yes, each 11.3.* update has had noticeable improvements, but many iterations yet needed before robotaxi-able.
Please go over the procedures to provide written & real-time feedback. Thx
Try a little more challenging route.
If you go down a dead end street can it turn around?
Thanks Farzad and Cindy! That looks like Austin… you should check out Levant Cafe, it is so good and the decor has this really cool gun-metal blue(?) styling. Cheers

You think people/internet can't figure out your location? Baaahaaa. On top of that, one can her Farzads guitar amp all the way from here
You mentioned that the restaurant you are going to has "protein". How do you define "protein"?
How come we never see your wife? I too love 11.3.6. Some times it still makes some silly mistakes on easy turns but sometimes handles difficult situations with ease. But it is amazing.
I love FSD, but on Long Island and in NYC FSD has many issues that still need to be resolved:
At some locations the Tesla has the wrong speed limit.
Often at speeds above 40 MPH FSD Does not start slowing down early enough.
FSD can not read "no turn on red" signs.
Many times when making a left turn, FSD goes into the wrong lane.
FSD sometimes makes a wrong turn.
FSD does not seem to know what to do at flashing red lights and flashing yellow lights.
FSD often does not signal early enough or even at all when going into a turning lane.
Sometimes the car will stop in an intersection for no apparent reason when making a turn.
When the left lane was closed on the highway by a truck with an arrow pointing to the right, FSD showed no indication that it was going to move to the right. It just stopped behind the truck.
Drives through potholes.
Drives over the while solid line when it was safe not to when making a right turn.
Sometimes FSD does not make full use of the turning lane while slowing down. It will not fully get into the lane until the end.
I wish it would try to avoid using the friction brakes.
This may be controversial but you should consider an AP-PAPA steering wheel weight. It makes the nags go away completely. You still have to hold it on occasion because they detect defeat devices but it really improves the comfort even more.
it’s easily close to robotaxis making their way to passengers (maybe 20% of the driving time) who can then get in the driver’s seat & take over if anything goes wrong… massively reducing costs… it’s basically a rental car you don’t have to pick up / only charges you for the trip not per day…
I can see your wife's point about the perceived safety from a human driver. The human driver has a self preservation mode. Robotaxis don't 'think' that way. I've been driving on FSD 11.3.6 and it realy feels like the future. The more defensive maneuver it does, the more I would feel comfortable with releasing control.
Mine wanders on the road, from one side to the other, barely noticeable.
I think what she is trying to say is that she wants the robo-taxi to prove itself to her before she gives full trust to it.
The two of you are talkin on two slightly different pages.
You're describing a scenario in the near future, and she is talking about today. This is what you're not catching in the conversation.
And you being a aggressive driver instead of a defensive driver is why you have a problem with yield signs. The car knows that yield means slow down then look and if clear then accelerate. You don't want it to slow down at all if it's clear. It is following the law and you are not.
Why am I still waiting for v11.anything?🤯
Good to see fsd improving but those roads are super basic
Glad you are intervening a lot. At this point of the AI traiing it needs those little tweaks to fully refine algorithm.
