I've lived in a few houses that were very active. The first house was the one I grew up in. So many things from shadow ppl, to slamming doors in the middle of night, to kids seeing toys move on their own and seeing monsters going under the bed, to real baby being moved around. My dad was a no nonsense kinda man, he did not believe in ghosts or anything paranormal. A box full of sheets and heavy mind you fell off a chair where it had been placed by me the day before it didn't just fall off it then went end over end across the room to stop at dads bathroom doorway where he was at the sink shaving. I heard the whole thing being in the room that was under dads room. Shook him up some. All kinds of things happened to everyone who stayed there all through the years my family lived there. After dad passed and house sold it never keep ppl living there long. Wonder why lol.
None of us was ever physically hurt by whatever was there, just scared really bad.

I was born into a haunted house and growing up with so many things going on, sounds, sights, seeing people walking around who weren't family, etc was normal for me.
These people WERE like family as far as I was concerned. My parents and older siblings would still get spooked or surprised, but they were also used to it.
Ghosts are just people who aren't in their bodies anymore.
Except for the residual haunts. That's just a major imprint of energy of an occurrence or routine on repeat.
I've been listening to these channels for about three years, and that story about "Brian" taking the guy to a bonfire is the scariest one of these I've heard. I don't know why. Maybe because it was unpredictable, I didn't know what was going to happen. Almost all of these are so predictable and, to be honest, boring. And the way people's faces were changing at the end… It gave me an empty, haunted feeling all over. You don't need big, scary events, just nuance and imagination. Shivers.
Our house is very old and definitely haunted by at least 5 different entities. The strongest one is Denny, a little boy who lived here close enough in time for a neighbour to know his name. He was always sickly and died when he was still a kid, and he seems to be bound to the house. Apparently I used to play with him when I was small, but I don't remember it now. There's a brother and sister pair who sometimes run around leaving handprints and footprints, and I clearly heard the girl giggle in my room in the middle of the night. There's an echo of a teenager who walks across from the bookcase over to the hallway door and goes up the stairs with a rustling noise and a rush of air. I've been told that she's wearing a skirt made of crinaline. The last one is an older man who smokes a pipe, and is fascinated by technology (particularly computers). If you have a laptop on the sofa which isn't against the wall and feel like there's a man standing behind you, it's him. He also makes the stairs and landing creak as he goes upstairs. We used to have a desktop upstairs and we often heard him walking up to stand behind us and see what we were up to on the computer. We've also had the dog of a previous owner visit. Their bed was under the stairs, and they used to play fetch with themselves by dropping their ball at the top of the stairs. Our own dog did the same but with the garden steps, and I wonder if he learned it from them. Great Grandma stopped by to pass on messages, and was throwing things around till someone told her she's not deaf any more and to just tell us what she wants. I've bought a haunted candle holder home from a charity shop, but that was only happening while it was in the house. It was thrown away when the previous owner snatched the lid out of mum's hand and smashed it on the floor. I think it was a case of "if I can't have it nobody else can either."
