  1. You can say this was crazy what they did but this is what they did to understand how illness affect the body and what they can do to cure it a lot of are past is really messed up but that’s how it was in a lot of places in the world

  2. This is a comment from
one user here below and it is really excellent which is why I’d like to share as it was not possible to pin directly: “To see how far we've come, while remembering the horrors with respect, seems quite noble, purposeful, and uplifting. This isn't about fake ghosts, or cold spots or orbs, but times of history when people suffered…yet mankind overcame, and now all that's left are the ruins of our mistakes.”

Great comment. I've nothing to add. Thank you @nuclear_candy

  3. Excellent video! I seem to have an over abundance of morbid curiosity. These places were horrific, don't get me wrong, but I love watching it. Discovering the depths of human depravity has always fascinated me. How can anyone think these things not only moral, but helpful is beyond my comprehension.

  4. I always am astounded and sad how buildings etc are just left to fall apart and rot. Why couldnt they convert it into another use before it rots away? Seems so wasteful, and sad really.

  5. 2024: Unfortunately and sadly we need psychiatric hospitals back. There are numerous dangerous mentally ill people in public. 30 years ago you may have seen 1 a month; now you may see 1 or more per day. We know much more about mental health and therapy now and I would be more hopeful that abuse would not be common place. We need to do something; if we do nothing we will all be in danger soon. Many wandering are mentally insane, be aware of your surroundings.
