Hollow Knight is a 2017 Metroidvania action-adventure game developed and published by independent developer Team Cherry. In the game, the player controls the Knight, a nameless insectoid warrior. The Knight explores Hallownest, a fallen kingdom plagued by a supernatural disease. The game is set in diverse subterranean locations, and it features friendly and hostile bug-like characters and numerous bosses. Players have the opportunity to unlock new abilities as they explore each location, along with pieces of lore and flavor text that are spread throughout the kingdom.

  1. Progress Count: VERY HIGH

So glad you found The Hive, it really feels like you're locked in to how to search out hidden content at this point.

A lot of people (myself included) found it accidentally because of the two bees in front of the hidden entrance, if you shoot a spell at them it also destroys that section of wall.

  2. Ngl dream deaths absolutely should be counted. Your health is being reduced to 0 by an enemy during a winnable fight, just because it happens in a slightly different context within the lore doesn’t mean that it doesn’t count as a death in a meta sense

The point of a death counter is to track how you’ve done throughout a full playthrough of a game. Some of the biggest challenges in HK are dream encounters, and not counting them when playing it just doesn’t make sense to me. But owell

  3. so glad you have a zote rematch and found the hive.

re: subnautica, i feel like the story in the first game was more polished, but all the flora (and some of the fauna) in the second were way better imo. i adored living in the blue twisty bridges biome. i think if the story was rewritten ever so slightly, it would be superior. i really hope for another sequel on the planet.
