Terracotta Army is a famous tourist destination in Xi’an China. This historical site has been closed multiple times due to the pandemic. So, we are very lucky to get the chance to visit before it gets closed again. It is still possible for foreigners to travel around China in 2022.
There are three pits with over 6000 funerary warriors discovered over the years. It was built to protect the emperor in the afterlife. We spent close to two hours checking out the three pits. It may take shorter or longer than that depending on the crowd. We saw a lot of tour groups during our visit.
