Terracotta tiled splashback in the poolhouse kitchenette

So apologies for not being able to show you the condition of these doors before I took control but trust me when I say you’re not missing much. They were in horrible order, the centre panelling was falling apart, the doors weren’t latching or locking and I’m not sure how the doors were still hanging with hinges so bad!

After removing the old panelling, I was able to reuse some tongue and groove western red cedar I recycled from another demo job. This was ideal as it was seasoned, dead straight like all cedar and best of all really light – perfect for what I needed. All pretty straight forward stuff to measure, cut and fit the new panelling. A clean up of the existing doors frames, jambs and hardware made sure things were ready for paint and that when reinstalled, would work as they should!
