I convinced myself not buying this one because of some lukewarm reviews, but my love of Origins: First Builder is so strong that you might have convinced me to get this one after all.
I realized that I forgot to do the surprise building for the AI before scoring. Just an FYI that what would have happened is that he would have built 1 warrior from the surplus of clay he had and also 1 warrior from the surplus of coins that he has.
Thanks for another fantastic review! Yeah this game is a hard-core AP inducing puzzle and I am absolutely lovin' it. I have managed to beat the bot on my second try, but lost my third game so I think the bot is tough but not unbeatable.
In the spirit of the day, just wanted to say "Thanks," John. I found your channel just 2 weeks ago and started Subscribing/Watching/Liking. I don't comment often — I've only started really getting into solo gaming relatively recently, and you play far more complex/advanced games than what I've bit into yet. I don't know if I'll ever be playing the games you play, but I always appreciate your perspective, as well as the passion and the time you invest into this channel to support others in the hobby. Hope you're keeping warm. Whatever you decide to play next, I know it'll be a good video. Cheers.
