Probably shouldn't bother me because this is easier to manage but it kind of annoys me.
This still looks deeply interesting, but it also looks like the tutorial needs some real work.

Dissapointing one, I was hyped when they announce It bit after seen some videos the game IS awfull. I'm not a graphics whore, my number one wihslisted Game on Steam id krellan Commander, but in this Game yo spent 90% time on that uninspiring terran map. I was far more interested in the space combat and the asteroides belt stuff and un this Game It seems you have yo manage that terran map even in the late Game…
I can see this game appealing to fans of the original X-Com. The measured strategy involved in the world overlay was something I always enjoyed about it and felt the same experience had yet to be replicated. Might give this one a try.

34:10 Yes. The top 3 are what the world as a whole is working on. As the world unlocks certain techs your faction gets them, other factions get them, and the countries get them. This will open up for faction specific research you can do. A non-insignificant portion of the game will be manipulating the world research preferences to help your faction advance more than others. You want to fight off the aliens it helps if the world is researching armor and weaponry along side you so you can don't have to spend the time doing the base research. Same if you would prefer to build and arc and lead the system.
In the far flung future year of 2022 the Gateway Arch has been moved to Minneapolis.
This game is going to need a full detailed playthrough.
