Why do the ships explode like they're made of stone?
So this episode raises two questions for me that are not important for any of the emotional beats but bother me anyway. First one is whether there was a pilot on that Thunderhawk who increased the body count by one, or just a servitor-pilot, or did one of the terminators fly it?
Second question: how did they get a message from Baal since a Tyrannid fleet should be casting a shadow on the warp that prevents Astropathic communication?
It is pleasant to see a 40K space battle since most battles tend to be on the ground, or in books or audio and apart from battle fleet gothic 1 and 2, there aren’t any other naval animated battles
Imagine being left flapping in the wind, only to know that the imperial floatilla has buggered off

This reminds me very much of the TV series Starship Troopers Chronicles, where the Veili Warge ship was followed by the Arachnid ship…
I love how, despite their raw power and size, the ships of the imperium is nothing but cannonfodder for Tyranid fleets.
Even ships like Macragge's Honour , a glorianna battleship of immense power and size, is easily destroyed by
the psychic attack from a tyranid hiveship .
And for some reason (other that poor writing) , the Imperium has yet to invent any weaponry which resembles todays nukes
which would bring great area of effect damage to Tyranid fleets. Even a form of biobomb would have great effect.
What in this battle killed them. The primus can’t the abominations maybe

Those rocket should not have killed those terminator armor that easily but if they got hit multiple time i can believe. It is just not supposed to be that easy to take down a terminator with just one hit
