“Maritta, Life Between worlds”

A glimpse into the childhood  magical realm of visions and dreams.
Accomplished professional visual artist, published fine artist, art instructor and painter.
Born in Acapulco – Mexico and residing in California since 1990.

My life is a beautiful  kaleidoscope with all those loose and broken pieces that make me a whole and fills the world with whimsical designs.
My art is  inspired by my travels, visions and dreams. I consider myself a global citizen with the artistic ability to paint bridges of understanding between people of different backgrounds and cultures. My travels have inspired me, and  it has opened my eyes to new perspectives, and taught me to appreciate the blessings of home as  my place to return to.
Actively involved in several art organizations in the area, presently serving as Vice President at the Temecula Valley Art League.
It is my  time to give back what I have learned and  what has been given to me throughout the years. I teach to the youth, sharing my knowledge of the arts to the new generations.
It is a joy to embrace this   opportunity of the  gift of sharing.
