TELL ME WHY I SHOULDN’T BUY THIS TRACTOR

If you’ve watched the channel for a while, you know that sometimes I can’t leave well enough alone. In this case, I love my Kubota M4D-071 but I’m feeling like trying something new. Something bigger. I’ve currently looking at the John Deere 5100E and the Kubota M5-111. For reasons I’ll explain in the video, the Kubota is winning the race. Not to mention there’s a wild edition for sale in Tennessee that I can’t help but consider.

Good Works Tractors is happy to be sponsored by Rim Guard Solutions! This is perhaps the most well-known ballast brand on the market today. Rim Guard goes right inside your tires, so it’s out of the way, it doesn’t freeze, and doesn’t corrode. It’s made from natural materials, so it’s safe around livestock and pets if it spills out. Rim Guard liquid ballast adds more weight to the back side of your tractor improving stability, loader performance, and power to the ground. Find your closest dealer at https://bit.ly/3d0whX0

  1. Find the cost of buying and replacing the original wheels, tires, ballast, etc. Add that to the asking price of the tractor. That's what it will cost to make the tractor right. Maybe you can find a sucker or a farmer in northern Alaska who will buy the tracks.

  2. Well, it's an easy choice. Where do you work for who pays you? When your job is done, American people, not Chinese, not tyranny. Hes not all these bullshit companies. So get your head out of your ass and do the right thing by american made God bless everyone

  3. IMO keep your M4. We run all older international on our farm and have been interested in newer attachments and how they work on larger older tractors. Id say an older 706-1086 their cheap and provide plenty of HP and weight and are cost effective. I know a lot of people that have them for smaller to mid sized acreages.

  4. $120,000? There is a reason that thing got traded in with that low of hours on it. If you like the tractor you have now and have have worked any issues with it, keep it and let someone else deal with the issues of this machine. I wonder if putting those tracks on it with a FEL attached voided any warranty left on the machine? If it originated in Dyersberg and is a local machine, chances are that machine was run in marshy sand. Sand is hard on rollers.

  5. John Deere is like a Ford, expensive. Get a RAM 2500 AKA Kubota M5-111 or step up to RAM 3500 AKA M6-111 (Would go with 131 or 141, bigger motor and more torque) with a power shift transmission. You would like it better than the M5-111. We have both. Out M6 is a 131 so a little bigger. Another quick way to see what Kubota a loader will lift. Take the loader number and multiply it by 2.2. Like your LA 1154 loader. It should lift about 2519lbs. We have M7060, M5-11 and M6-131. Speaking from experience!

  6. Push button is over rated. Go to the M6 power shift. Go find one of each and try it. The power shift is what you want! That means M6-101, 111, and 131, and 141. Your in the high lift hole. Go to the lower hole for power!
